Children under 2 are welcome in the facility but the parent has to take turns sitting with the child outside of the water.
For the Hotels and accommodations located in Keflavik Town, the shuttle bus pick-up is handled from the Keflavik Airport. If a direct hotel pick-up is needed, a private transfer is required.

Blue Lagoon
Go with the right mind set and you will have an amazingly unique experience. The bathhouse is very nice but chaotic. Once in the lagoon, the water is fabulous.

Overpriced when you have other options
The Blue Lagoon is a must see but you can easily arrange a cab and get same types of admissions and experience without paying the high price through this company. Unfortunately we found this out later. The transportation is not door to door and bus stops are lacking. For the price this requires too much personal planning and logistics.
Operator response
Dear Kimberley,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear that the transportation arrangements did not meet your expectations.
We would, however, like to clarify that the transportation details and Icelandic regulations regarding hotel pick-up in Reykjavík are clearly outlined in the tour description and are also communicated at the time of booking. Some hotels located in the city centre do not permit tour buses and coaches to stop directly in front of the property. In these cases, guests are required to walk a few minutes to the designated bus stop.
This is not a company-specific policy, but a result of Icelandic street and traffic regulations. Shared transportation to and from the Blue Lagoon is operated by minibuses or coaches, which cannot access many of the narrow streets in central Reykjavík. This is why designated bus stops are used. Guests booking private transportation can be collected directly in front of their hotel, as smaller vehicles are able to access these areas.
We understand that these arrangements may require a little additional planning, but the information regarding the pick-up procedure and applicable regulations is provided before the booking is made, so it should not come as a surprise on the day of the tour.
Iceland is a unique destination with regulations that visitors are expected to follow, and we do our best to provide clear and transparent information so guests can make an informed choice when booking.
We are sorry that the experience did not meet your expectations, but we hope you still enjoyed your visit to the Blue Lagoon and your time in Iceland.

Great experience
This was the perfect way for us to go from the cruise ship terminal to the Blue Lagoon. The buses were prompt and easy to locate. The Blue Lagoon was fantastic, so relaxing and fun to do our face masks while enjoying a beverage. Definitely worth the price.

great time
Had a great time! Kids really enjoyed themselves. 3 hours was plenty! We did the face mask and free drink and then just floated or peeked around all the amenities. The check in and changing rooms are a little chaotic but all in all worth it. Such a different experience. we all had fun. water is murky and a lot of steam so difficult to see another. don't forget your sunglasses! Loved it.

Perfect unwind day
Was the perfect stop on our way back from a multi-city European vacation. We unwound in the lagoon for the entire afternoon. Drinks and facial! 100% recommended!

The best company in Iceland
We had bad experiences with other companies so Marina Travel were a breath of fresh air. Absolutely amazing service. They were quick to answer all questions with immediate personal replies. Everything about the trip was perfect. The two drivers were excellent.
I would not hesitate to recommend Marina Travel.

Bag Lagoon transport scheduling.
Paid for transportation. Transportation schedule had changed without notice, and we missed the bus, as it only came every 2 hours now. So as not to miss our time at the Lagoon, had to take a taxi for $90. Was very unorganized
Operator response
Dear Joel,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about the inconvenience you experienced.
As explained on the day of your tour, the Blue Lagoon transfer schedule has been fixed for many years, with departures at 7:30, 9:30, 12:30, and 16:30, as clearly stated in the product description.
While we understand that missing the 7:30 AM departure was frustrating, the 9:30 AM transfer would still have allowed you to enjoy your visit, as your Blue Lagoon ticket is valid for entry at any time during the day.
Our team is always available by phone to assist with scheduling concerns, and we would have been happy to advise you on alternatives to avoid the additional taxi cost.
We regret any frustration this situation caused and appreciate your understanding.
Best regards,
Marina Travel Team
