Fantastic experience!! Our lava master was Neil (ably assisted by Josh doing all the hard/hot work 😉). Neil was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. His enthusiasm was infectious and he was able to answer all questions with authority. I would happily repeat the experience if I returned to Reykjavík. If you can, book the premium ticket, it’s worth it.

We had so much fun at the lava show. It was really fun seeing real lava up and close. Sitting on the front row is a must!!
The lava show is a must see! It was so informative and interesting to learn about how the show began and about volcanoes themselves. It was so much fun and I felt like it was worth the money. It’s about an hour long for the show which felt like a good amount of time for everything and the speaker, Bastian, was super informative and seemed to really enjoy teaching us which was great! Would definitely recommend this for everyone!
It was a very cool experience. I wished they would show more work with the lava. The video was longer.
As my son is a Volcano enthusiast we booked the premium tickets. The day we went also happened to be the Lava Show 8th Birthday, so as well as a free drink and piece of Lava Glass (part of the premium package) we had cakes too. We were seated on the balcony, and the show starts with talk from the presenter and a dramatic film about Icelands history. Then after this the real show starts with the Lava poured down the chute into the room. The presenter Adam was fun and engaging with the audience. Afterwards the premium ticket holders had another film about the furnace 'Ragnarok'. Then once that finished the 2 presenters were in the bar area to answer questions, of which my Son had plenty! My only small suggestion about the show would be, frow our perspective on the balcony it would be nice if the presenter stood on the other side a little more often, as sometimes I couldn't see exactly what he was doing as he was in the way... though at one point (when lifting the crust) he did so from both sides.

Such an incredible experience. Lots of educational information. I felt safe in spite of the heat. It was surprising to watch the presenter lift the partially cooled shell & see the extreme heat underneath
