Whales and dolphins are seen on more than 90% of tours in both summer and winter! In the unlikely event you do not see a whale or a dolphin you receive a complimentary ticket to join us again another day. Too crowded and bad captaining
This was easy to book and it was nice to have spaces that were warm to go in when it felt cold. The tour was over booked however. There were not enough spaces for everyone to sit on the boat. When the whales were near the boat, the captain pointed the boat directly at the location of the whales (12:00) and only the people in the front of the boat could see the whales. There were about 30 people crowding to the front of each deck and impossible to see over or around them. There was one point that the whales swam to the side of the boat but after a few minutes the captain pointed the boat right at the whales again and we couldn’t see. It would have made more sense if the captain turned the boat at different angles so that people could have been distributed to multiple areas of the boat.

Too expensive for less than 10 min seeing whales
Very expensive. The tour guide did not say much about the whales or nature around. We saw a whale and a couple of dolphins for less than 10 min

Eldin Whale Watching are the best!
I honestly wondered what the trip looked like, whether it was worth it... Everything we saw, whales surfacing and diving several times, a school of dolphins, excellent service on board, the guide, the staff, all the recommendations!

Wonderful experience.
Departure postponed twice because of the weather. Good communication from the provider. Very informative commentary (in English). We had the opportunity to see whales up close but with respect for their well-being.

A brilliant experience
A brilliant experience. Our first trip was cancelled due to bad weather but it was easy to reschedule and we went out on 25th September. The staff were lovely, very knowledgeable and kind. We saw Minke whales, harbour porpoise and lots of humpback whales.

Amazing experience!
Amazing experience, we saw multiple whales. The guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. The offering of the sea sick pills and overalls was a bonus and I did not want to take the suit off!

Book this tour if visiting Reykjavík
Sadly I didn't get to go on this tour as the weather made it unsafe to do so, but the way I was informed about the cancellation and was refunded was excellent.

Whale watching tour
Great 2 hour whale watching tour. Swa severa; humpback whales, minkies, and harbor purposes; They also provided great pictures that most of us were unable to capture. Overall, great experience

Canceled but still a positive experience
Unfortunately, due to rough waters, my tour was canceled. Fortunately, I talked to Bjork at Elding and they are issuing me a full refund since we wouldn't be there another day to reschedule. I have no doubt it would have been a great experience, but I appreciate Elding considering the safety of their guests.
