Cancellation Policy
Most tours on Excurgo offer free cancellation. Here's what you need to know.
Free Cancellation
Most tours can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the start time.
Check Each Tour
Each tour has its own policy. Always check the cancellation terms on the tour detail page before booking.
Non-Refundable Tours
Some tours are non-refundable after booking. This is clearly indicated on the listing before you pay.
How Cancellations Work
Excurgo is a discovery platform — we help you find tours, but all bookings are made directly on Viator.com. This means all cancellations are also processed through Viator.
To cancel a booking:
- Log in to your Viator account.
- Go to “My Bookings” and select the tour you want to cancel.
- Follow the cancellation steps on Viator's platform.
- Refunds are processed by Viator according to the tour's cancellation policy.
Typical Cancellation Windows
While each tour sets its own policy, the most common cancellation terms on Viator are:
Cancellations by the Tour Operator
Occasionally a tour may be cancelled by the operator — due to weather, insufficient participants, or other circumstances. In these cases, Viator will notify you and issue a full refund automatically.
Important Notes
- Cancellation times are based on the local time zone of the tour's departure location.
- Always read the specific cancellation policy shown on the tour listing before booking.
- Refunds are returned to your original payment method (processing time depends on your bank).
- For group bookings or private tours, cancellation terms may differ.
