Sky Lagoon, a scenic geothermal lagoon that opened in 2021, is a relaxing passage through Icelandic bathing culture. There you are surrounded by reefs, lava cliffs, and the open ocean and you get a chance to unplug, without having to even leave the capital area.
Sky Lagoon is visited equally by locals and travelers and has become their Zen place in the city. The unique architecture invites you to time travel between centuries where the strong natural connection from the early ages and the advanced modern technology of today come together in perfect harmony.
Their 7-step Ritual, a therapy of hot and cold. helps you relax and restore which is the core of the experience. At the edge of Sky Lagoon, you’ll find a 75-metre long infinity edge giving you the feeling of sea and sky coming together as one.

Nice spot for a relaxing afternoon
Sky lagoon is nice it’s different than the blue lagoon but is better in my opinion. There is a 7 step ritual that everyone has the opportunity to do which is nice. It’s a neat place and better value than blue lagoon in my opinion

Must do!
I went early solo and had an amazingly relaxing spa-esque experience. Take your time, be in the moment and basque in every step of the ritual.

Fun get away from Reykjavik
Clean and relaxing. Loved the 7 step experience. The shot was really tasty! Sauna and steam room were awesome. Easy to use lockers and staff were helpful.

I had a great time. I booked private showers and it was worth it. The water was warm even though it was chilly out. Amazing time, and I recommend coming in the evening for a chill vibe

Best Lagoon of the bunch!!!!
The Sky Lagoon was a fantastic experience. First and most importantly the lagoon itself is outstanding. The view was fantastic and the lagoon itself maintained a constant temperature throughout. Other lagoon experiences which were big plusses as well which included the seven steps. Minor things which we appreciated were the dedicated changing room option. My wife and I have been to the other two major lagoons in Iceland and we rated Sky Lagoon as #1.

After an overnight flight, this was a fantastic welcome to Iceland!!
Wonderful way to enjoy our first hours in Iceland after a red eye flight! We went straight from the airport (11am) to Sky Lagoon, we paid for the private changing rooms which were fantastic and then floated around for a few hours. The bar was great for beverages, the ritual was lovely, but just floating around and looking out at the view was SO relaxing, luxurious and an amazing way to deal with jet lag. would absolutely recommend!!

Great experience!
The sky lagoon was great! It's closer to Reykjavík so the taxi was less than if we had gone to the blue lagoon. It's not cheap but the experience was great. However it was pretty crowded at 5:30 pm when we went. Also going at that time meant more traffic so our cab fare was almost double the normal rate. But i really enjoyed the hot springs and the 7 step ritual. It was definitely worth the price
