My friends and I, a party of 8, took this tour August 2026 with Filip as our driver/tour guide. It was amazing! We had incredible weather and Filip gave us extra time at the various stops to really enjoy the beautiful scenery. He had a lot to say about the landscape and area as we drove from location to location, complete with relevant tunes. Some of the other people on our tour said Filip's driving was scary, but I never felt unsafe. My only wish is that I could have spent 2 days going through all the stops and seeing things in greater depth.
Excellent 7 day tour. Our guide Thorah was informative, friendly and funny. Very nice way to tour Iceland and leave the troubles of logistics behind.
Great tour guide, very friendly with rich experience. Hotel arrangements are also great.
Really good way to see what makes Iceland special if you’re on a short schedule. Axel, our guide was very knowledgeable
Our tour guide, Kristoff (sp?), made this such a fantastic experience. It was our first full day in Iceland and getting to see such amazing places around the Golden Circle was incredible. My favorite part, however, is something that isn't even advertised: as we were traveling to Blue Lagoon, Kristoff shared with us the experiences of the recent new volcanism on the Reykjanes Peninsula, including explaining about the new and old roads, showing where the lava had gone, the walls built to keep it out, and touring us briefly through the abandoned city of Grindavik. He also showed us some amazing photos he took during the years of fissure eruptions. We really enjoyed the whole day - Thingvellir (no thorn, sorry), Geysir, waterfalls, Blue Lagoon, all of it! As with any tour of this scope, it can be difficult to balance the driving distance and time with actual experienced time at the sites, but this one struck a happy medium for sure.
The overall experience of visiting all the locations listed in the itinerary was fantastic. Gilli was very knowledgeable of the area, well managed the time, and fastibating story about Vikings. My 4 stars rating is due to the communication about meeting point. Pickup and drop at the hotel was the selling point for us. Traveling first day in foreign country would always be helpful to be picked and dropoff. Other than that Gulli made the tour excellent. We’d strongly recommended to reserve this tour. The Blue Lagoon was the saving for the best for last.
We use nice tours through Tripadvisor. We had an excellent guide by the name of Philip, who’s been with nice tours for five years and very knowledgeable about the stops and commentary throughout the trip.
Everything about this tour was fantastic! Our guide, Walter, was particularly great...informative, entertaining and hilarious! Communication with this tour operator was easy and seamless as well.
They pickup us at the hotel, and started the tour, each place is unique and more amazing than other! Spectacular visits.
Lorri was a great tour guide. With excellent knowledge of the area. And lots of interesting information.
