Drive to the Reykjanes area from Reykjavík where the Blue Lagoon and Volcano is located.
This stop is a bonus and not included on every departure.
Hike to the new volcano eruption sites through the mossy-covered lava fields and mountains with our expert tour guide. The hike around 2 hours each way over sometimes difficult terrain. The hike is of moderate difficulty. You will hike to the 2021 eruption field which really gives you a sense of the scale of of these natural wonders.
We arrive to the Blue Lagoon after the Volcano hike to relax and enjoy the warm geothermal waters.

What a pretty day for a first day in Iceland...I got to the hotel at 2.30 am and at 08.00 I was already waiting for the bus...I thought I couldn't make it...but oh my God...I didn't even had time to be tired...Vjeran, our guide was amazing, so nice and funny and warm hearted 💕! We did a great hiking up to the top of the volcano and then I got to experience the Blue Lagoon 💙! He made sure that I was all settled and went with me even to the Lobby to make sure that I had all in order! Thank you so much, I was very lucky to have him for my welcome experience in Iceland!!? 💕

Toby Omar’s son, was an excellent tour guide on this tour. I would highly recommend him as he was very knowledgeable and friendly. He introduced us to some wonderful Icelandic music as well. All in all, BusTravel has been fantastic!

Perfect and the guide wonderful, approachable and fun. He took us to the best places and to the Blue Lagoon, always with joy, respect, and humor.

First time visiting
You will hike for a bit so be sure to wear good shoes and layers. The views to see the lava spots are amazing. You see where it came from and how it traveled. We also stopped at a small town/village where a lava spot came out that made part of the area abandoned. The blue lagoon was amazing. Soak your body in the waters and did the face mask. This is a must should you come to Iceland. Our tour guide Peter was very polite, informative and a pleasant person to lead our group.

Fantastic Day Trip
Great tour! The volcanic eruption site was very interesting to see, and the Blue Lagoon was the perfect way to relax afterward. Our guide was very professional and shared a lot of interesting information about Iceland, its volcanoes, and local culture throughout the trip. Highly recommended!
