The boats and guides were great. You can choose to stay inside and still have great views. We were able to see bubble feeding multiple times with a high number of whales. The crab at Tracy’s Crab Shack was great!
Boat was ideal for whale watching. Saw numerous humpback whales including calf. Saw seals on buoy (boat pulled up close for better view). Crew was polite friendly and knowledgeable. For us, it met our expectations. Highly recommend.
I have no words, the staff, the experience, everything was awesome! The staff was well versed and knowledgeable. The boat was clean, they had everything you could think of. 10/10
Captain Russel, Viteri, and Emily are the kindest, most knowledgeable, and friendly crew. I 100% recommend this tour. We saw many whales and some sea lions! And Mark Zuckerberg’s yacht… Most importantly, they are a LOCAL company—that means they know really know the waters and wildlife and can keep prices lower than cruise companies. Book them! You won’t regret it
They did a great job with the tour. The tour guide were great. We saw humpback whales and sea lions. If you want to get closer to the wild life I’d recommend a different option.
Dustin, Zateri and Mia were an amazing crew. We saw humpbacks and an unexpected surprise, Orcas. I would recommend this as a must do while visiting Juneau.
Excellent trip. Crew was extremely knowledgeable. Saw single whales and mother and calf. Tracy’s crab was good. Viators voucher is your ticket for red crab combo. Everything was very good. If you’re on a cruise, take this tour. Cheaper and much better then you can get on the cruise ship.
We did the whale watching tour and honestly it was incredible from start to finish. The crew were absolutely brilliant — genuinely friendly, welcoming and clearly passionate about what they do. That really comes through during the tour and makes a huge difference. Special mention to Captain Dustin and crew Brock and Dani — they were fantastic. We were lucky enough to see a mother and baby whale, plus over five whales in total, which was amazing. The whole experience felt very natural and not rushed at all. The tour itself was run so smoothly and efficiently — everything felt effortless and well organised. The driver was great, and the team made the whole experience really enjoyable. This is easily one of the best excursions we’ve ever done, and we’ve done plenty over the years. It’s far better than your typical cruise excursions — much more personal and memorable. Would 100% recommend this to anyone.
Make sure you’re on the right bus at check in. We got put in a line that did not go exactly where we signed up to be, but Viator was kind enough to fix the problem.
