Mendenhall Glacier Park and Ultimate Whale Watch Combo

Description
Join us for Whale Watching in our cool Alaskan waters and then view one of 38 glaciers from the Juneau Ice Fields - the spectacular Mendenhall Glacier. We guide you on a 2 hour whale watching tour, spotting Humpback whales and other wildlife. Then off to the Mendenhall Glacier to spend some time hiking, watching fish spawn at Steep Creek or enjoy an outstanding view from the Visitor Center. You get 1.5 hours at the park, but don't worry! That is the perfect amount of time to walk to nugget falls and take in the displays at the visitor center.

Unforgettable experience! The tour guides are very friendly and knowledgeable.
Very well timed! Amazing whale sightings! Capt. Lauren and naturalists, Tenley and Haley were great, as was our guy driver who took us to and from Mendenhall.
Knowledgeable fun guides. Amazing whale watching. Glacier was beautiful. Trails were easy and manageable
Amazing, nice people, great experience. Everything was safe, and good amount of time, they are well organised.
Amazing whale watching trip! We saw about 25 whales and saw the whales bubble net feeding. Just WOW!!! Crew were extremely friendly and knowledgable! We learned so much about whales! Boat really clean and comfortable. 100% recommend
They were also quick to refund the glacier portion since it was flooding. We went out and saw at least 13 humpback bubble feeding. It was amazing! The captain and other staff were funny and knowledgeable.
Thank you SO much for being so understanding about the glacier portion of the tour! We know it was disappointing, but it sounds like our whales made up for it! Thank you Juneau Humpbacks! :-)
We were so lucky because we saw a pod of 4 humpback whales and a baby, our guides called Barnacles who breached repeatedly. Even the kids in our family group of 10 were enthralled. The guide took our family picture which we appreciate. I don’t remember their names except one of them was maybe Vitaro or something like that. Without seeing the whales it would have been awful, but seeing the flukes and the baby whale was fantastic.
The Whale watch was amazing… it is incredible to see these whales. The boat staff was informative and did an amazing job tracking down the Whales. An amazing experience. The Hike to the Glacier just caped off the day nicely. I would reccommend.
Stunning!!! An experience to repeat even if that day we had to give up on the glacier it was closed. The captain is very attentive. He let us enjoy the show.
Captain Nate and his first mate Lena gave us a first rate whale watching tour. The trip was great fun, and we saw several whales. clearly both of them had a great interest in Wales and conservation. I appreciate that this was a local outfit, Chasing Tails, and I would recommend that organization specifically. The mendenhall glacier part of the tour had to be canceled, as there was a threat that the glacier would breach and cause a dangerous situation, so no problem at all there. overall the tour was great, the guides were better, we saw plenty of whales, and I had a great time.
