Still had to wait on line
Still had over an hour wait on line
Operator response
Dear Guest,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that you still experienced a long wait during your visit.
Our priority entrance service is designed to reduce the waiting time, but security checks and crowd levels at the Accademia Gallery can sometimes cause delays, especially during busy periods. Unfortunately, these factors are outside our control.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We will continue working to make the experience as smooth as possible for our guests.
Best regards,
Justin

Terrible guide facilitator
This is not a guided tour and good luck getting your tickets! I had to inquire with museum staff on who was holding our tickets!

Hot and a long line for skip the line
It was not really skip the line as we stood in a long line until I told the agent that was not what I paid for. He promptly found a ticket ?… that moved us up the line by half which is better than nothing. I understand that it was busy but skip the line means just that. Skip the line and that is why I paid the premium.
It was hot and the line was very aggressive (pushing and shoving) because of heat and fatigue which did not help.
Operator response
Dear Guest,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We sincerely apologize that your experience did not meet your expectations.
We understand your frustration, especially given the heat and the crowded conditions. You booked a priority entrance service, and we understand that you expected to avoid the regular waiting line.
We are glad that our representative was able to assist you and find an alternative entrance option, but we are sorry that this still involved a wait. Your feedback is very important to us, and we will review this situation with our team to improve our service and communication during busy periods.
Thank you again for bringing this to our attention.

You don’t actually “skip the line”
I had a very disappointing experience. I was left standing for over 30 minutes with no communication, update, or notice. Museum staff don’t help if your third party reservation isn’t helpful…. The lack of professionalism and respect for my time was frustrating & to top it off, I still had to wait in line. What was the point of paying for “skip the line” if I had to still wait in the line?!
I would not recommend booking through this third-party site unless you have a direct way to contact the agency or provider or you’re actually skipping the line. If something goes wrong, you’re left with little to no support or communication. Save yourself the inconvenience and book directly with museum ahead of time!
Operator response
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations.
We sincerely apologize for the delay and the lack of communication you experienced at the meeting point. We understand how frustrating it is to wait without updates, especially
when you have planned your visit in advance.
Regarding the skip-the-line service, while our tickets provide priority access, all visitors are still required to pass through the museum's mandatory security screening. During busy periods, these security checks can result in short waiting times, which are unfortunately beyond our control.
We value your feedback, as it helps us improve our communication and customer service. We are sorry that your visit was affected and appreciate you bringing these issues to our attention.
Thank you, and we wish you all the best.

Rude and stressful
Through the third party, Destination Europe Florence, the experience was not pleasant. We purchased skip the line tickets from USA in advance and two days before our visit was contacted that our time needed to be changed from noon to 4 pm. The day we arrived the person who changed our time was not present. He sent me a name of a contact, and told me a changed meeting place. When I went to the meeting place the individual there was very, very rude and tried to send us away. After a stressful few other conversations we were then handed tickets and had to wait in line. So annoying and unnecessarily stressful when purchasing Skip the Line tickets in advance. The inside of the gallery was fabulous, which has zero to do with the third party.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
We are sincerely sorry to hear that your experience with us did not meet your expectations. We understand how frustrating it must have been to have your entry time changed and then experience confusion at the meeting point.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, we occasionally need to adjust entry times when the museum changes ticket availability. Whenever this happens, we notify our customers as early as possible and do our best to offer the closest available alternative.
We are especially sorry to hear about your interaction at the meeting point. Providing courteous and professional service is very important to us, and your comments have been shared with our team so we can review what happened and improve our coordination.
We appreciate your understanding and are pleased that you were able to enjoy the Accademia Gallery despite the difficulties. Your feedback is valuable and will help us improve the experience for future visitors.

Disappointed
I would not recommend Destination Tours. The communication last minute a change in tour time which disrupted the schedule of our day. Once in line redeeming tickets the representative changed our time again. Audio guide was to be included and it was not. No way to access the audio. Beware of this company.
Operator response

Regarding the audio guide, we are sorry to hear that you experienced difficulties accessing it. The audio guide is provided through a mobile application, and our staff are always available to assist guests with access whenever possible.

Easy for Last Minute Access to Gallery
It is difficult to get tickets at the last minute for a group to this gallery, but when you know you MUST see David, then this is the solution! I got a ticket for one about two hours before I was able to enter. Meet-up to redeem voucher was easy to find. I arrived a little early and was given an earlier ticket for admission. Once I had my ticket I walked right in!
Operator response

Shop here if you want to pay for Free Admission Day Tickets.
I was excited about this but came to learn the tickets I bought were not valid since I was sold Free Admission Day tickets. I was messaged to see if I wanted to change my day to the day before on a Saturday. I said yes. Took a 6am train from Rome to get there. I was communicating with the operator the whole time. Until they went silent. Once I arrived, I was told my tickets were invalid since the operator never sent a new confirmation and new tickets. By that time I was tired and defeated. I haven’t even looked that the last message from the operator since I don’t want their drama. I asked for a refund and they denied it. Why would a supplier who lives in Florence and Knows that every first Sunday of each month is a Free Day have tickets for sale? This goes to show how much they Do Not Care about the experience of people who purchase from them and just want to make money off anyone who’s willing to pay. It’s exhausting getting tickets to see anything in Italy and my exhaustion got the best of me. We were going to try and come back the next day -Sunday. But decided not to. Obviously it was a sign from the universe to just relax and enjoy the city without the craziness of deceitful tour operators. I do not recommend this supplier. I’m also sure they will respond to this comment with something rude and sassy saying how it was my fault. But at the end of the day I was sold tickets for a Free Admission Day. That should tell you everything you need to know.
Operator response
Dear Guest,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations.
We would like to clarify that we informed you in advance that your original visit date fell on a Free Admission Day and offered an alternative date to ensure that you could benefit from skip-the-line access. You agreed to the proposed change, and we proceeded with the necessary arrangements.
Our records show that we remained in communication regarding the updated visit. We regret any confusion that may have occurred concerning the revised booking details and understand how frustrating this situation must have been, especially after traveling from Rome.
We take pride in assisting thousands of visitors each year and always strive to provide clear communication and reliable service. Free Admission Days are announced by the museum, and when they affect bookings, we make every effort to contact guests and offer suitable alternatives.
We appreciate your comments and will use your feedback to further improve our communication processes. We wish you all the best and hope you enjoyed the rest of your time in Florence.
