We pass along Christ Church Cathedral and learn about the history of the Catholic Church in Ireland as well as a view of the venue where Handel's Messiah was first performed. Learn about the origins of the city of Dublin, all the way back to the Viking invasions from the north and their lasting legacy.

We visit the lively nightlife quarter of Dublin known as Temple Bar. This area is bustling with activity and is the main spot where tourist gather to share a pint and a chat long into the night. You will find live music and lots to see.
Cross the picturesque Ha'penny Bridge and learn about the foundations of the city and the evolution of trade and travel around the town centre.

Approaching the epicentre of the 1916 Easter Rising rebellion, we cross O'Connell Bridge and view the statue of its namesake Irish parliamentarian Daniel O'Connell. We chat about the river Liffey, its history and the famous Liffey Swim.

We stop at Trinity College to view one of the world's most famous universities and learn about the many well known historical figures who have studied here. You can enter the courtyard of the university grounds and view the extraordinary original architecture for a few minutes.

Truly memorable and fun!
I loved my two hours with Damian. It was the tour I didn't know I needed because he brought me through different neighborhoods than I had been in on my own and he showed me so much about Dublin that I didn't have on my list to explore.
It was just he and I, so we were able to navigate the crowded streets and get where we wanted to go. When you can hustle, you can see more. Remember, Dublin is crowded.
I loved that he played music for me as we talked about why I was there to begin with- music. He brought me through parks, showed me a historic hotel for Handel and where Bram Stoker lived and was married. We walked through Temple Bar and popped in the actual bar for a quick restroom break, but seeing Temple Bar as a neighborhood rather than a bar itself, was enlightening- I didn't understand the history of the space.
I learned about the Viking and Roman history in Dublin and why roads and neighborhoods are named as they are. I absolutely loved it and would highly recommend it.
I also loved that I looked UP a lot, which allowed for him to learn new things with me for future tours.

10/10 Experience! Damien is a fantastic guide.
I enjoyed the tour so much! Damien is an exceptional guide: super fun, engaging, and with an incredible ability to teach and explain everything clearly. I loved the consideration he shows when telling the history; you can tell he really knows what he's talking about and genuinely cares that the group understands. Plus, he is a very curious person, which makes the tour dynamic and full of interesting anecdotes. If you have the chance to book a tour with him, don't hesitate. He makes the experience a 10/10!

A colorful tour of Dublin by Damien
Damien was absolutely the most wonderful tour guide. He gave us a grand overview of Dublin and its history from 500 BC to present times. He was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. Walking Dublin tour
