What a wonderful way to experience Ireland ! With our small group of 10 and very knowledgable guide Matthew we so enjoyed the warmth and hospitality of the local towns and villages we visited, the rugged landscape and learning about the history of the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.The tour was well paced providing time for exploring and the accommodation overall surpassed our expectations. The castle stay was a highlight. A big thanks to Matthew for making it such a memorable trip. The stories shared added so much value to the tour. I would have no hesitation in recommending Overland Ireland for anyone visiting Ireland for the first time.

Mark was an incredible tour guide. I honestly can't say enough about how engaging he was throughout our tour of Ireland. The knowledge and personal stories he shared with us every single day gave me a much richer understanding of Ireland's history — the kind you simply can't get from a guidebook. And even on the days he pulled away from the group, he still made sure we were getting the most out of every stop. Managing a group's dynamic can't be easy, especially in the times we're living in, and ours was a real mix — similar ages, but from very different corners of the world. That blend made for some wonderful conversations. Even our rough start, with the tire repair early in the first leg, turned into a gift in disguise — it's what gave us the chance to really start talking with the rest of the group. Getting to know the backgrounds of the people we traveled with was an unexpected delight, and I feel like we walked away with real friendships, not just travel memories. Now I've got the happy task of reliving it all through the 1,000-plus photos and videos I took. This was the first real group tour I have taken, and it set the bar high. As we plan future adventures, this trip will be the one we measure everything else against. We're both worn out in the best possible way — and that says as much about Mark and Overland as anything else I could write. Highly recommended!

The Overland 10 Day Ultimate Tour of Ireland was a great way to experience Ireland for the first time. Our guide, Mark, didn't just take us from place to place, he brought Ireland to life for our Group. Mark, has a great sense of humour, and is incredibly knowledgeable about the history and folklore stories of days gone by. I would highly recommend this tour for its value for money, itinerary and perfect balance of inside and outside activities, and not to mention the fabulous hotels and their location. 💕🇮🇪☘️

Amazing 10 days encompassing Ireland and Northern Ireland with a very manageable group size of 16. Our guide Mark was extremely knowledgeable about all our stops. He managed to share the tumultuous Irish history without bias. As for the places we visited, it was a good blend of historical castles and other points of interest. We especially enjoyed the sheep dog demonstration and the Dingle Crystal Factory demo. As for locations, our favorites were the Cliffs of Moher and the beautiful grounds of Kylemore Abbey. We would definitely do it all again.

Experience of a lifetime. 10 day tour that was so amazing and beautiful. Every place we stayed was very nice and our group was great. What I would recommend if you ever do this tour, you absolutely must ash for Breda as your group guide. She was more than we could ever imagine as far as a guide. She knows how to bring the trip truly alive with all her knowledge and experience and wonderful stories.

We had a wonderful trip through Ireland, but what truly made the experience exceptional was our guide, Mark. I honestly can’t imagine having a better guide. Mark is simply the best of the best. He has that rare ability to be incredibly knowledgeable and professional while also being warm, funny, thoughtful and completely genuine. He didn’t just take us from place to place…he brought Ireland to life for us. His stories, knowledge of the country, sense of humor and little insights along the way made every day more interesting and memorable. What impressed us most was how naturally Mark took care of everyone. He made the entire experience feel relaxed, personal and fun. By the end of the trip, he felt much less like our tour guide and much more like a friend we were genuinely sorry to say goodbye to. The itinerary was wonderful and Ireland is beautiful, but Mark is what we will remember most about this trip. Amazing trip with an amazing guide. When u sign up, be sure to ask for Breda. She has a wealth of knowledge and knows all of the "off the beaten path" things to see. We didn't have to worry about a thing. The entire trip was wonderful! Steve M.
