Ireland Adventure We’ll Never Forget
Fantastic Tour & an Incredible Guide!
We had such an incredible experience on our Rabbie’s tour of Ireland, and a huge part of that was because of our guide, Jim! He was energetic, personable, and incredibly knowledgeable. You could tell how passionate he was about Ireland and its history, and he made every part of the journey interesting and memorable.
Over the course of the tour, we got to experience so much of Ireland — from the Old Kilbeggan Distillery and Clonmacnoise, to the stunning Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, Dingle Peninsula, and the Slea Head Drive. The Ring of Kerry and Skellig Ring were absolutely breathtaking, and stops like Waterville, Derrynane House, Torc Waterfall, and Blarney Castle gave us such a great mix of scenery, history, and culture. We also loved getting to explore Kinsale and the Rock of Cashel before returning to Dublin.
Jim made the long drives feel like part of the experience rather than just transportation. He shared stories, history, local knowledge, and plenty of humor along the way, and he always brought so much energy to the day. Even when we were tired from a full day of exploring, Jim somehow kept the atmosphere fun!
What really stood out was how much we learned while still having an absolute blast. We saw so much of Ireland in a relatively short time, and Jim made us feel like we were experiencing the country rather than simply checking places off a list. A group favorite was seeing the Celtic Steps on our final night in Killarney.
If you’re considering a Rabbie’s tour, I highly recommend it — and if you get Jim as your guide, you’re in for an especially great trip! He truly helped make our Ireland adventure one we’ll never forget. ☘️☘️☘️

Exceptional Tour and Tour Guide (Jim)
We recently embarked on a five-day tour of Ireland with our family, and it was simply unforgettable! From the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher and the stunning Ring of Kerry to the beautiful Dingle Peninsula, every moment was memorable. The hands-on experiences with local animals, including the impressive Irish Wolfhound, added a unique touch to our adventure.
Our tour guide, Jim, truly made the trip special with his deep knowledge of Ireland’s history and culture, paired with his great sense of humor. He was attentive to our needs, ensuring we had plenty of breaks for meals and exploration while sharing fascinating insights that made the drives enjoyable.
Jim’s special touch of incorporating Irish music related to the areas we visited added to the enjoyment and experience. Highlights like the Cliffs of Kerry, Irish dancing, and watching sheepdogs in action were unforgettable, but it was Jim’s passion and expertise that really brought the tour to life.
We can’t recommend this tour and tour guide highly enough—an exceptional journey made extraordinary by an outstanding guide!

Great tour and excellent tour guide
Marcus was an excellent driver and tour guide. He was warm, friendly, knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. The tour was at a relaxed pace and we appreciated that he took us to see the Kerry Cliffs, as this was not part of the original itinerary. Marcus provided insightful commentary on the tour, as well as played a variety of Irish songs over the music system which were highly appropriate for the sites and scenery. He made regular comfort stops along the way, which was greatly appreciated. Marcus dropped us to our hotel near Dublin Airport at the end of the tour, which was very kind. We had a great tour and have already recommended Rabbie’s to friends.

This tour makes you fall in love with Ireland! 😍
This was a great trip, well above my expectations! We had an amazing tour guide Stevie (Wonder), he cared so much about his group and made sure he gave us the best experience and made everything easy for us. Super clean bus, very comfy, accommodations were great (except for Fairview in Killarney - staff was friendly but cleanliness very poor). The planning of the itinerary was perfect, a bit fast-paced but good given the number of places we got to visit. Overall highly recommended!

There is quite a bit of...
We had a splendid time on our tour. Our tour guide , Stevie, was very knowledgeable and made our trip of Ireland very memorable. He showed us unique things about Ireland that we would never know if we didn't see it. Since there is a quite a bit of walking on the tour, we realize that was necessary if you wanted to see and explore Ireland the right way. We had awesome weather so that contributed to why we had a wonderful tour also.

Beautiful scenery and a great tour overall!
Our guide/driver, John, was fantastic! He was always perfectly on time and took us to great places for scenery/photos/food/fun! He was full of great information too! We were a little disappointed that the description made it sound like we would be able to get a taste at the distillery, but found out it was really just a restroom stop when we got there. It would have been nice to know more precise times of our itinerary, but we had a great trip overall. We met great people from all over the world on our tour which made it extra special!

Dissapointing
A very dissapointing experience...the small minibus is extremelly unconfortable
Having no choice but to seat in the last row..which supposedly accomodates 4 adults was the WORST ride I ever experienced ...had to lean forward for all the 10 hour tour trip...since the 4 adults did not fit on that tiny space
Furthermore had to carry my small backpack on my legs all the time since it did not fit on the overhead compartment
Vents did not blow any air
Unfortunatelly also Killian was a very rude tour driver
My Ireland 5 day experience was not good
Operator response
Hi Tony,
I'm sorry to hear that your journey was uncomfortable and that you felt there was not enough space on the bus during your tour. We use minibuses because they allow us to reach places that larger vehicles simply can’t access, helping us provide a more unique and immersive experience. However, we appreciate that they do offer less room inside, which may not suit all customers. To help guests make informed decisions before booking, we do outline the types of vehicles used on our tours.
Additionally, all of our vehicles do have overhead storage compartments, so I can only apologise if this was not made clear during your trip and that it resulted in you having to keep your backpack on your lap throughout the journey.
I'm also very disappointed to hear your comments regarding your driver guide, Killian. This is unusual feedback for him, as he is typically known for his welcoming and engaging approach. If you would be willing to share any further details or specific instances regarding your experience, we would greatly appreciate it, as feedback like this helps us improve our services. Please feel free to contact us at feedback@rabbies.com.
Thanks,
Jo

Incredible Tour with Amazing Friends and Tour Guide
The tour was incredible and the tour guide, Stevie, made it a very memorable experience for my friends and me. Stevie went above and beyond every single day to help us explore Ireland’s beauty and culture. Stevie’s humor and storytelling were also super entertaining and appreciated. I will be back!

Tour of a lifetime!
Easily the best tour I have experienced. The destinations were interesting and incredibly beautiful. Stevie, our guide, was affable and a brilliant storyteller! His storytelling was delivered with humor seamlessly interesting tantamount to Frank McCourt the author of “Angela’s Ashes” and Pulitzer Prize winner. Stevie could be a famous author as well if he put his pen to paper. The group was fun and diverse.
