Itinerary
From April 26 to November 30, visit Mt. Fuji 5th Station, located halfway up Japan’s highest mountain. Enjoy a closer view of Mt. Fuji and panoramic scenery of the surrounding area. During the winter season (Dec 1 – Apr 25), this stop will be replaced by the Mt. Fuji World Heritage Center due to road conditions.
This attraction is visited from December 1 to April 25 instead of Mt. Fuji 5th Station. Discover the history, culture, and natural beauty of Mt. Fuji through interactive exhibitions and immersive displays.
Hakone Ropeway (Sounzan – Owakudani – Togendai) Enjoy a scenic ride on the Hakone Ropeway, one of Hakone’s most spectacular sightseeing experiences. Travel from Sounzan Station through Owakudani to Togendai Station (approximately 45 minutes in total), passing over volcanic valleys, steaming sulfur vents, and beautiful mountain landscapes. The section between Owakudani and Togendai offers some of the best views of Mt. Fuji and Lake Ashi when weather conditions are favorable. Ropeway tickets are included.
Explore Owakudani, a famous volcanic valley created by past volcanic activity in Hakone. Walk around the area, see volcanic steam rising from the ground, and enjoy unique local specialties such as the famous black eggs (optional purchase).
Relax by Lake Ashi, a beautiful crater lake surrounded by Hakone’s mountains. Guests may choose to join the famous Hakone sightseeing pirate ship cruise (optional) and enjoy scenic views from the water. Guests who do not choose the pirate ship cruise can stay with the tour bus and travel to the next sightseeing location.
Optional Shinkansen Return: Guests who choose the Shinkansen option will depart from Odawara Station and take the bullet train independently to Tokyo Station. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Your guide will assist with purchasing the ticket and accompany you to the station entrance before departure. Please note that tickets are for non-reserved seating only, and the guide will not travel with you on the train. Bus Return: Guests who choose the bus return option will stay with the guide and return to the original meeting point by tour bus. The journey takes approximately 2 hours, depending on traffic conditions.

The tour departs on time, and late arrivals cannot be accommodated or refunded.The tour guide and driver information will be sent to you by email one day before departure (usually in the evening). Please check your email before joining the tour.
- Mt. Fuji 5th Station is available from April 26 to November 30. From December 1 to April 25, the itinerary will visit Mt. Fuji World Heritage Center instead due to road conditions.
- Mt. Fuji visibility depends on weather conditions and cannot be guaranteed.
- The Hakone Ropeway and Pirate Ship may be suspended due to weather, strong winds, maintenance, or operational reasons.
- The Shinkansen return option is independent travel. The guide will assist with ticket purchase and escort guests to the station, but will not ride the train with guests.
- Shinkansen tickets are for non-reserved seating only.
- Guests who do not select the Shinkansen option will return to Tokyo by tour bus with the guide.
- The return time may vary depending on traffic conditions and the number of participants.
- With fewer than 13 people, the guide will also drive and give only simple commentary.
- The tour runs with a minimum of 4 people. If not enough people join, we’ll let you know at least a day in advance and offer to cancel or change the date.
