Description
Uffizi is a must-see destination in Florence. One of the oldest museums in the world, Galleria delgi Uffizi or Uffizi Gallery, was built in 1560 and established in 1581. Also, one of the first modern museums of that time, Uffizi remains to be one of the most important art museums in the world and the top tourist attraction in Firenze and Italy.
With a rich collection of priceless works of art from the house of Medici – mainly from the Italian Renaissance period – you will browse through the greatest artworks from famous artists, such as: Botticelli’s The Birth of Venus and Primavera, Michelangelo’s The Holy Family, Leonardo da Vinci’s The Annunciation and Adoration of the Magi, Raphael’s Madonna of the Goldfinch and Portrait of Leo X, Caravaggio’s Bacchus, Sacrifice of Isaac, and Medusa, and Rembrandt’s Self-portrait as a Young Man, Self-portrait as an Old Man, and Portrait of an Old Man.

Our guide, Irene, was absolutely fantastic—knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the art and history of Florence.
