If you’re a fan of wine and flavorful brandy, then you’ll instantly fall in love with Albania. Located along the Mediterranean Sea, Albania is the ideal location to grow the perfect grapes that produce some of the best drinks in the region Winemaking is an ancient tradition in Albania, dating all the way back to the Bronze Age. Fast forward to the years of communist dictatorship, wineries thrived but could only be controlled by the state. Now many wineries are family-owned and produce the country’s wines, whiskeys, and the national Albanian drink – raki. Along a beautiful, blue-green lake only about 50 minutes from Durres and an hour away from Tirana. The grapes grown on their massive vineyard produce three types of wines: merlot, tempranillo, and cabernet sauvignon.

I had a really nice time. Bottling the wine and the boat trip were my favorite.
I had a really fun time. The boat ride was very peaceful, and the food and wine was tasty. The host was very funny and knowledgeable, which made for a very fun and informative trip!
All of the wines are bitter. I am new to alcohol but i expected things that tasted good but these drinks are more eye candy. If you like bitter drinks its nice and the experience was worth it the boat trip is gun and the food is good. Just a bit expensive. I liked the cheese
Amazing tour. The group we went with were very friendly and made it better. Mario was very knowledgeable he knew his stuff. It was VERY hot so I couldn't do the vineyard but my wife did. The wine tasting was great though a lot of wine so sip slowly and finished of with Raki Great Lake views so serene. Definitely worth a visit and worth the money.
The tour and tour guide was excellent we both thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish highly recommended
Fantastic experience! Our guide was nice and charismatic! We got to eat good ice creaming our way to the vineyard! You got a lotnog wine and raki during the experience and the photos we got to take where great! We would highly recommend! P.S if you are nice there is car pool karaoke on the way home
