Amazing private laid back cozy. John was a fab guide. If you only do one touristy thing then let this be the one
Very friendly and knowledgeable guide. Nice chill ride. Would definitely recommend. Thanks
An excellent trip. The guides were polite, friendly, thoughtful and great fun. The port and wine flowed, the snack were lovely and the small number on board made it feel really personal. I would strongly recommend this trip. As a side note, we walked to the meeting point from the town in 37 degree midday sun and it took just under an hour. I would get a taxi next time.
Very nice boat ride in the evening. The boat only had our family of 4 and then 4 other people on it which made it very small and easy to talk. There were two crew on the small boat-----Jonas and Maria. They were both so personable and friendly. I would highly recommend this for an evening sunset as the value was very good.
Our guides Maria & Jonas were very knowledgeable & friendly. The drinks & snacks offered were very good too. A clearer description of meeting point would be better. You meet at the area in front of restaurant Marina Do Frieixo. We contacted the operator & Maria got back to us straight away confirming we were in the right place. Would recommend this tour as a nice way to view Porto & Gaia.
We decided on private river tour while our cruise ship ported in Porto. Best excursion ever!! Boat was spotless clean and appropriately sized for small groups, it was just my wife and me. Our captain, Jonah, hit a trifecta: 1 Great /safe job handling the boat in traffic. 2 Great tour guide pointing out historical and architectural facts, and 3 Great sommelier as we partook local wines and cheese/meat board Easy Uber from cruise port to boat dock.
Two great informative captains.
Small boat, but with a bathroom! Personal attention, great service, good amount of wine and snacks. We enjoyed the trip.
Great experience and great value.
I had a really good time. It was nice to get to know some people specially travelling solo. Really lovely team as well that put in all the effort to make it a great experience. Can only recommend it!
