We will cruise under beautiful canopy of ancient trees into the stunning Montford Historic District, a turn-of-the-century neighborhood frozen in time. From your window, you'll admire some of the city's grandest homes—from ornate Victorians to rustic Arts and Crafts bungalows—while hearing about the colorful characters who came to build the Biltmore castle and stayed to build homes for themselves.

As we wind from Chicken Hill into the River Arts District (RAD), you'll see incredible art painted on historic industrial factories. Along the way, we'll share the profound stories of our riverfront's survival and strength, from the 1916 flood to the recent trials and recovery of Hurricane Helene.
Grove Arcade

After the River Arts, we will drive alongside the lively street front of the historic Grove Arcade. Today, this beautifully preserved landmark is home to some of the city's best local makers, galleries, and sidewalk cafes—making it a perfect spot to circle back to for dinner and shopping after the tour.
Basilica of Saint Lawrence

Be sure to look up to admire the massive tile dome of this stunning Spanish Renaissance basilica. It boasts the largest freestanding elliptical dome in North America, built completely without wooden beams or steel supports!

We will wrap up the tour by driving down the peaceful, shaded canopy of Church Street to admire it's breathtaking parade of historic architecture. Tour Asheville with a Dose of Humor
This 90 minute guided bus tour covered main sights of Asheville with commentary by costumed characters delivering information interspersed with slap stick comedy (some raunchy, not suitable for kids). There is one stop for beverages and potty break.
LaZoom's staff was compassionate and helpful with a member of our party who hurt her wrist just before arriving for our tour. They offered Tylenol, ice and names of two ERs within five minutes of the tour site (which we went to after the tour and received great care).

Hysterical
Hysterical this is the 3rd time we went on the comedy one. We also went on the haunted one 2 times.

A unique experience!
Hilarious and informative. Our comedians were great. Super silly and a bit raunchy!! Great for laughs, and also we learned a lot about the cultural and racial history of the city. We would have come back for a 2nd run if we'd had time.

Unique and funny experience
We booked a La Zoom tour on the first afternoon of our trip to Asheville to get a sense of the city and have a more fun / unique experience than just a 'regular tour'. Our guide was very talented and funny and we did learn some interesting facts about the history of Asheville. I'd call the tour PG-13, so be sure to go with friends or a casual group - its not for everyone.

Awesome! Funny! Informative! Fantastic!
Even though I have lived and worked in AVL for nearly 15 years, I have never taken the Lazoom tour. My brother and his wife were visiting from out of town, so my wife and I booked a tour for the 4 of us. What a fun way to see Asheville! The Guides were fantastic, professional comedians! There were times we just belly laughed. The tour far exceeded our expectations. Many surprises!

Funny, Fun Way to See the Sights!
Visited with some girlfriends for a birthday weekend. As much as we've done in this town, this was our first LaZoom tour and it was an absolute hoot! Cookie and the rest of that zany crew had us belly laughing for an hour-and-a-half. The Hey Asheville tour was the perfect way to learn the history while also peeing your pants a little, haha! HIGHLY recommend!

Best laugh of our lives
The absoulte best!! Laughed in stiches the wole time! Our guide Corr was incredible and hysterical. Polished, perfect delivery and so amazing and fun! I can't say enough about how great she was!!!

Unique Asheville Experience
My husband and I had a great time on the daytime tour. We definitely want to return to do the ghost tour also. Would highly recommend this tour.
