Blue Ridge Parkway and Waterfall Hiking Tour from Asheville
Description
We pick you up at your hotel or lodging! A seasoned local guide will pick you up at your accommodation within 3 miles of city center (One North Pack Square) or will meet you at the Asheville Visitor Center if you are staying outside that distance. The excursion will take you through beautiful mountain scenery on the way to visit three impressive waterfalls and two protected forests as well as a scenic drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway (weather permitting) to discover the amazing views surrounding this iconic road that connects two National Parks. We provide comfortable seating in a climate controlled van. Drinks/snacks are included. IMPORTANT Guest should be prepared for walking approximately 3 miles on the hiking portion of this tour over a period of 2 hours, including stops at the falls and you should feel comfortable walking this distance before making a booking. The tour is not suitable for children under 12. We will return to Asheville by approximately 1:30 p.m.

The tour includes a drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway, (when open), an American treasure well known for its scenic beauty and remarkable mountain views. (Note: During winter months the Blue Ridge Parkway may be closed due to ice and snow)
Sit back , relax and enjoy this stunning drive to our first waterfall in Pisgah National Forest before traveling a short distance to visit two more falls in a beautiful state forest. Along the way you'll listen to interesting stories about the rich history of the area that has been attracting people to the area for generations.
Wear comfortable shoes or hiking boots for the approximately 3 mile hiking portion of the tour on trails rated easy to moderate. There are stops along the way that will give you time to enjoy falls, a snack and drink that are included. Bring a small day pack if you have one. Your tour concludes with transport back to your hotel, leaving you the rest of the afternoon to enjoy at your leisure.

Important **We pick up within 3 miles of city center One North Pack Square Asheville NC 28801.** If you are staying outside our pick up area we can meet at the Asheville Visitor Center 36 Montford Avenue Asheville NC 28801. (safe/free parking) PICK UP TIME WILL BETWEEN 7:45 - 8:15 am as we have several to schedule on most days. We also pick up:Sweet Pea Hostel, Bon Paul & Sharkeys Hostel, area Bed & Breakfast/ Airbnb/ VRBO/ locations within 3 miles of city center. We pick up within 3 miles of city center, One North Pack Square Asheville NC 28801. If you are outside that area we can meet at the: Asheville Visitor Center 36 Montford Avenue Asheville NC 28801. The parking is safe/free and we are members there as well.

The perfect tour for a long weekend in Asheville! Tony reached out to coordinate a pick up location and shared a lot about the region throughout the day. The Blue Ridge Mountain overlook stops and the hike were fantastic. Highly recommend!
Tony was an amazing tour guide who provided history along with great stories about the blue ridge parkway and the DuPont state park and falls He was so respectful of the age of the people with the tour and adjusted the speed of the walking part of the tour. I highly recommend his tour!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Tony was an awesome guide! We stopped several times to admire the views and take happy snaps. Tony was patient and loaded with knowledge about the area. Pisgah National Forest and Dupont State Forest were beautiful, and the three different waterfalls were amazing. The hike was very doable, no complaints! Tony pretty much let us set the pace and he was very good about keeping his eye on everyone. The drinks and snacks were a very nice touch and much appreciated. We were so happy we went on this tour!

You’ll regret not booking this tour with Tony, so do it! Our group of 4 girls had an absolutely wonderful time, the views were gorgeous, especially that last waterfall. Tony was such a sport and didn’t bat an eye when he was met with our energy, one of the best tour guides you’ll have! He had cold drinks, snacks, towels and probably anything else you could need during your excursion. Thanks again Tony, have a great time with those precious grandbabies! Hoot-hoot!

A nice introduction to the Blue Ridge Parkway, The Pisgah Forest, and the DuPont Park. With a great guide, who gave us snacks and soft drinks. No tequila.

Tony was amazing and the hike couldn’t have been better . I’ve had some hikes from hell a few years ago that Tony managed to erase . He had snacks and water , made all of us feel welcome and included and allowed us to set the pace of the hike . Awesome guy and awesome company . Highly recommend . Now i know why he has only 5 star reviews .

Tony was fantastic. Very accommodating with any sort of request, question, or issue. Out day was organized and wonderful. He even spotted a hornet’s nest at High Falls and flagged not only for us but for any others walking nearby. Snacks and drinks were great. A worthy and beautiful 5+ hours seeing the waterfalls and getting in a good workout. Along with a lot of history about the parks.
