Palace of Versailles
After the guided portion, immerse yourself in the grandeur of Versailles for approximately 2 hours (for half-day tours) or 4 hours (for full-day tours) to wander at your own pace and discover its treasures independently.
Paris

Wonderful
Excellent experience. Good communication from company re pick up for Versailles. On time, nice Mercedes van, driver Mr, Gemini. Picked up another couple. only 4 of us in the van. 50 min ride to Versailles in crazy Paris traffic. Nita, our guide at Versailles, met us there and also coordinated with other arriving travelers. It was about 10 people in group. Nita gave us all microphones to help us hear her which worked very well. She was a fun, nice, friendly and knowledgeable guide with excellent English. We toured public rooms and gardens. She made sure we had enough time in each area and that everyone stayed together at Versailles. Versailles amazing, opulent and OTT! No wonder the peasants got upset. Wandered the gardens by ourselves for 90 mins pre departure. Nuta had all the tickets for inside the palace and gardens. Absolutely worth your time and money. Versailles was busy but not crazy busy. When trying to enter the palace the ticket scanner was rejecting the tickets of the group in front of us. Instead of holding the group to the side while sorting it out they held up the whole line, Change your process Versaille entry folks.

Excellent Experience!!
Four friends did the semi private half day tour. The driver was waiting for us at our hotel and took us directly to the front gate at Versailles to meet our guide. She was wonderful...calm, knowledgeable, friendly. The information she provided in the palace was so interesting, and she gave us a great overview of French history. She introduced us to the gardens before we leisurely toured on our own before the driver promptly returned us to our hotel. Highly recommend this tour!!
