We had a great experience with our guide Florence from beginning to end. She was friendly and extremely knowledgeable, bringing a lot of the art and sculptures to life. She was also great at ushering us through a very busy Louvre!
We went on a Wednesday evening in the middle of August - it was fairly busy, but our tour guide seemed unphased, must've been less than usual. Our meetup spot was easy to get to by the bus, it was right next to a stop. We waited and got setup which took about 20/25 minutes, then we entered. Each of us were provided a little audio channel with an earbud to hear the tour guide better during the trip. I thought we got a great experience seeing the most magnificent and notable works, though I do wish we didn't pick 6pm. By the time our guided tour was over (close to 9pm) we couldn't go look around at any other artworks on our own pace. I don't necessarily blame the tour or the guide for this, as she aptly communicated to us we could break away at any moment to go on our own. Our tour guide Florence was wonderful, so kind and very helpful. She clearly knew her stuff and understood how to manage all of us. She also did her best to answer questions and elaborate on the history. I do wish that we made haste with the beginning (talking about the construction of the louvre) and got to see more of the actual artwork. It wasn't as interesting to me. Overall, if you're looking to see the major pieces without any confusion on where to go, definitely consider booking. I think we'd have been very lost without it. I do think the price was a bit much, but knowing that we had a satisfactory experience while in Paris was worth it to me.
Maxim was very knowledgeable and we really enjoyed our time there. It was very crowded but he found ways to get us close to key items to tell us about.
This was an excellent tour, and Mathilde was a very knowledgeable, caring and engaging guide. I really enjoyed it! I have done many tours with Viator, all good, but this was one of the best. Highly recommended!
Useful tour to give you some highlights of this huge museum. Our guide Natalia was knowledgeable and amusing.
I needed an urgent evening repair because I had a flight early the next morning and did not have a reliable backup pair of glasses. Nam A Optical managed to adjust the frame, secure the loose areas, and check everything properly within a short time. Their quick but careful service saved me from a stressful travel problem and allowed me to leave Hoi An without worrying about my glasses.
Informative tour with skip the line access. Our guide was friendly and knowledgable and we were able to see everything we hoped to see. Really glad we booked.
Mauro was spectacular guide. So very Knowledgable, easy-going, and made it a fun tour. Only reason we give home 5-STARS is that we were limited to that number.
Omar was fantastic—funny, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the Louvre and its artwork. He made sure we were well taken care of, showed us all the major highlights, and pointed out small details in famous works that we absolutely would have missed on our own. He also took the time to show us some unexpected pieces, which made the tour feel much more personal and interesting. We learned a lot, laughed a lot, and never felt rushed. Highly recommend both Omar and this tour!
It was very easy to book, and there was a generous cancellation policy. Our guide, Maxim, was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining and enthusiastic.
