The guide walking too fast and lost 2 people. Guide just brought us to the entrance and left us. I was with 2 elderly people and the guide didn’t check on people.
This was a total ripoff. They charged well over what cost to buy the tickets directly from the Vatican and delivered a s**t show to boot: A) it was difficult to figure out who to meet at the meeting point; B) we had to download an app and a map into our phones. Some people only had wi-fi and there was no wifi to connect to or a hotspot, which is slow, and that delayed everything. This downloading could easily have been done the day before so no delays would have occurred. Or, he could have had paper maps. This is just plain dumb; C) we had to follow the "guide" and stand in line like every one else. There was no skip the line; D) we had to stand around and wait while the "guide" still tried to get people set up with the app. E) we still didn’t have our tickets F) we had to push the "guide" to go buy our tickets so we could be on our way. Then we had to push to give us our tickets instead if dealing with internet problems. G) apparently there was supposed to be some sort of audio program but all we got was a downloaded map. If there had been an audio program we wouldn't have been able to use it anyway because it relied on our phones. The description didn't say we needed internet or earphones.
Our host was very kind, he met us promptly on time and gave us a thorough explanation of our journey and the steps to get there. It was a wonderful experience and the price was the best out there for all that it included I would 100 percent recommend.
