After a bus ride of approximately one hour, we will arrive to Toledo, where we will first take a panoramic tour. You will be impressed from the very first moment, as we will go up to the Mirador del Valle, an elevated area from where we will have the best views of the city. At this point you will enjoy a short free time to take as many photos as you wish
we will start a walking tour through the most important areas of the city, passing by places like the Cathedral, the Plaza de Zocodover or the Synagogue of Santa María la Blanca, where we will have the opportunity to access and visit it. Did you know that since 1986 Toledo is considered as World Heritage of Humanity? No doubt, this is synonymous that the city will surprise you. At the end of the guided tour of the city, we will have free time to rest and have lunch, as we will still have time to visit one of the most important wineries in Castilla La Mancha.
After lunch, we will get back on the bus to head towards the oldest winery in the region. Here we will have the opportunity to enjoy a complete wine tourism experience, as well as delve into the art of winemaking in a unique setting, a bicentennial winery that is surrounded by a carefully tended vineyard, where the most prestigious grape varieties in the country are found. Of course, we can't leave without tasting some of its best wines, accompanied by an aperitif. Once we have finished our visit to the winery, we will return to Madrid, where we will finish the tour, very close to the Royal Palace.

Very interesting trip to Toledo with Julia Travel. Guide was very professional, provided a lot of information. Transportation was comfortable with air conditioning
Complete and updated guide, we liked the walk
Loved the pickup location and the views at Toledo were amazing especially from the hill adjacent to the town. And main cathedral was an amazing church and exquisite architecture. I didn’t do the winery or tapas lunch. My biggest issue was the way Julia Tours allocated the tour guide. I signed up for the English guided tour. But what I got was where the guide spoke both Spanish and English. But being more comfortable in Spanish the tour guide Susanna was more heavily presenting in Spanish. There should be 100% English guide for the full day Toledo group and 100% Spanish guide for the full day Toledo group. Making one guide do both prevents me from recommending it to anyone.
Both Susannah and Altina were great. Super impressed with Altina who would became our guide once in Toledo. She could switch seamlessly from Spanish to English. Toledo is a hour from Madrid and lots of streets and history. Take a tour!! Take this tour. We loved the city walk then finished with a great wine and tasting tour. Recommend.
I loved it, the guide Susana was attentive at all times to everyone in the group, her explanations of the city and history were very clear and she answered the questions they asked her, she also gave recommendations for typical food and products. The excursion departed on time from Madrid and from Toledo. The 2 drivers for each leg of the trip were very good. I 100% recommend the tour since if you are staying in Puerta del Sol and its surroundings, you can walk to their offices comfortably.
An unforgettable day in Toledo! Our guide Susanna kept us engaged throughout the tour, paying ample attention to the English speaking crowd as well. The Tapas Lunch option is a Plus! Can definitely recommend.
Very good experience, the guides (Susana and Aitana) had a lot of knowledge and experience to provide the service and the explanation during the tour; I also recommend going to the vineyard tour at Casa del Valle!
Great day trip from Madrid. Spent the morning walking around Toledo, and our guide Christina was so knowledgeable - giving us so much information. Then we went to a local winery - there were only 4 of us and they opened up the winery for a private tour and tasting - Natalia who showed us around was lovely and so passionate and informative. Definitely recommend this trip if you want to get out of the city for a day
This was a wonderful tour of Toledo. Thenia was very knowledgeable and showed us the architecture and history of this city. The winery was very cool. I enjoyed being walked through the process of making wine and seeing the steps involved.
Very nice experience-1/2 day walking tour of Toledo with about 1hr of “free time.” Then depart to Casa del Valle winery for 3 wine sampling + small cheese/meat plate w/ bread sticks. Expect trip to go from about 9-5 (incl. all travel)
