Pleasant experience with our Mt Fuji and lake Kawaguchiko trip today. We were able to cover most of the attractions within the day. Although we could get to only the first stage of Mt Fuji due to inclement weather, we made the most of the opportunity covering other attractions. Our driver Mr Shah was very courteous and helpful. He was proactive in letting us know about the pick up time and was always keeping us on time through the day. He explained the key attraction highlights patiently and with a smile. He even volunteered to be our family photographer and clicked good pics 😀 Highly recommended !!
Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful experience! We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed your Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko trip, even with the weather challenges. We’re especially happy that Mr. Shah could make your day smooth, informative, and memorable — from keeping you on time to capturing your family photos. Your kind words and recommendation mean a lot to us, and we look forward to welcoming you again on another adventure in Japan! 🌸
. I would suggest that no one uses this company. Our driver didn’t speak English, or it was so poor he couldn’t understand us. I asked if he could tell me a little about the places we asked several times and he responded by showing us the place on a map. Then asked to speak to the owner and after 15 minutes of mucking around we got through to somebody. I asked him if we could change drivers or book for another day as it was really important to us that we had a driver that could show us the sites of Tokyo and explain to us about the culture of the city. He said he would have to speak to the owner and I gave him my number but the owner never bothered to ring us back. Meanwhile our driver would just drop us off on a road and point to where we were supposed to go so a couple of times we got lost. The final straw was when we walked around the imperial Palace and came out at the wrong entrance a little further down the road. We rang him and asked if he could pick us up at the palace hotel, we rang twice in a half an hour. And he still didn’t turn up. We ended up getting a Japanese man to ring him to arrange pick up. He then gave us a mouthful, which we couldn’t understand, so we finished the tour early, couldn’t stand him anymore.

My husband and I visited Japan on my vacation, we decided to do a tour with Viator as always wherever we go. Our tour guide picked us up from our hotel, his name is Ishii, he took and showed us all the destinations on our itenirary and gave us history with it. We really enjoyed him throughout the trip. We will be back and hopefully can do a different trip with Ishii. I highly recommend him as your tour guide specialist.
