Fantastic experience, highly recommended
Our guide Diana was fantastic! She was so sweet and knowledgeable. She made a rainy day tour fun! The only reason I gave three stars is because of how the trip is advertised. The ad reads guide will pick you up. But what they don’t tell you is that YOU will have to pay for your own transportation as well as the guides, as well as guides lunch and other expenses ( lots of entrance fees and trains, buses) to get there. It was two hours to take the train and buses, two hours back, and two- three hours actually being there. With the exception of meeting our fabulous guide, it was not worth the trip. The ad should read guide will meet you and you will need to pay all expenses involved including transportation for guide and yourselves.
Hi - It does actually say 'Transportation is not included' We make it as clear as is piossible but know it can be overlooked sometimes!!!
Do not book this tour!! It was a rip off - 240 USD AND OUR TOUR GUIDE HAD NEVER EVEN BEEN TO THE SITE BEFORE! We also had to pay for all of her transportation, her food, and her entrance fees to the shrines. We walked 40 minutes to the last shrine and she got us there too late so we missed it. Also never saw the giant Buddha. It is a beautiful town, but I wish we had just explored it ourselves. Already requested a full refund.
Extraordinary tour. Full of history and very interesting facts. Visit spectacular temples and shrines. The views are wonderful. Jabriel was our guide and I have no words to describe how amazing his attention and knowledge about the history and culture of the place was. Thank you so much!
Thank you!!!!!!
Amazing tour in cute town called Kamakura, my guide was Florence and he was amazing, very knowledgeable, fun and full of stories, in each place, I learn a lot about the places and the religions in Japan. Great time, enjoy it and recommend him.
Great tour with Lana. We saw magificent Buddhist and Shinto sights and learned history. Learned great perspectives about the country
Raffa my guide was great he was very helpful I visited the areas that I had expected to see A must if visiting Japan
My guide named Flo was an excellent guide. He took us to the great locations and gave us an adventure I will never forget ☺️☺️☺️
This experience was very good. So many sights to see. The guide was knowledgeable and easy to spend the day with. The sights are amazing. For future travelers here are some notes on this trip: -“pick up at hotel” means the guide will meet your party at your hotel -You will be taking public transportation (trains/bus) to get to Kamakura. You are responsible for paying for tickets, including your guide. It comes to about 3000 yen per person - This tour is a LOT of walking. About 20,000 steps and quite a few stairs. Thanks to Florent for making our day extraordinary!
The Kamakura tour was amazing! The booking process was very efficient and easy. I chose to be picked up from my hotel, and my guide, Raffa, picked me up on time and dropped me back at the same place. Raffa is very knowledgeable, speaks fluent Japanese, and is friendly, helpful, and highly professional. He absolutely deserves five stars! I would gladly recommend this tour and book for future tours if and when I need a guide in Japan. Thank you so much!
