In the heart of the village of Sintra, a pair of unusual conical chimneys rise above the Royal Palace. This Palace became the favourite summer retreat of the court and continued, as the residence of the Portuguese royalty, until the 1980s. Teressa was our guide. She was AMAZING!! She made the tour a perfect experience. She was funny, had a lot of knowledge, knew exactly when to explain more and when to shorten the explanation, and her English was not less than perfect!
Our Guide, Dayane, was the highlight of our tour. The westernmost part of continental Europe was fun, the old town of the Sinatra villlage was a bit too commercial and touristy, the Pina Palace was very interesting.

Very informative with lots of historical facts shared. The guide was also considerate of my needs as I needed to go slower than the general pace.
Fabio was a fantastic driver and tour guide. The actual sites were outstanding, Sintra, Cascais and Cabo de Roca. He was extremely friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He provided ample time for pictures, shopping and sightseeing. With the help of Swingo (the local tour operator) we were lucky enough to have Fabio a second day to tour Lisbon as our private driver/tour guide. Since I had done lots of research prior to the trip, Fabio and I were able to set a great itinerary for both days. We highly recommend him and Swingo.
