We enjoyed a tour of the tombs and the Basilica under the expert guidance of Marzia. She gave us good explanations on the lively history of the many lives and intrigues of the many popes and the history of the basilica in general. Inside she drew our attention to the many points of interest of both art and religious symbolism and relics. At the end of the tour she explained us the best way we could walk in order to go through la Porta Santa which is now open in this Holy Year.

Pretty short tour, but really save time in the line.
I would make it a bit more educational for kids or people who came without serious Catholic background.
More history, maybe, less details about old Popes.

We had a brilliant tour with Bruno. He was very personable, easy to talk to and very knowledgeable and helpful. I could not recommend this tour highly enough, was well worth the money.

If you have never done a guided tour of ST PETERS before this is the one to do it does start early but it means you beat the crowds and it means your finished for around 9.30 leaving you time to visit the museum or the dome ,the guide Rosaria is a fantastic guide dont miss this tour it dont cost much either

Take a guided tour to visit the Basilica! The history behind is very interesting. I came back home with more information. The artwork and sculptures are incredible. Our guide Rosaria led as also visit the caves where there is the tomb of St. Peter. Really exciting to discover the history of those places. It's worth getting up early to do this tour, you will be rewarded by the pleasure of going around inside the Church not crowded at all.

I have long wanted to return to the basilica. I had never done a guided tour, but a friend recommended to do it, to save a longer memory of the visit. He was right! Rosaria, our guide, with her detailed explanations helped make the visit special. When I return to Rome definitely will contact her again to keep on discover the city in depth . Thanks so much!!

The world's largest Church, so rich of masterpieces, like Michelangelos Pietà. Everything is huge. Worthy visiting with a guide like Rosaria, very knowledgeable and attentive. She pointed out all the highlights and details that we would have not discovered by ourselves. The early start was another added value to the visit, as it made it possible to appreciate the piazza and the cathedral in a more quiet atmosphere.

The Basilica is richly decorated and a most impressive sight even for someone like me who is not overly religious. Very high value for this tour. Rosaria was a great guide, professional and knowledgeable.

It's worth getting up early to do this tour! Very little queue at security checkpoints and the church almost empty: the right mood to visit it quietly and without the background noise of crowded places. And if you are accompanied by a professional and competent guide that provides you with the information necessary to better appreciate what you see, then the visit becomes truly special. Thanks Rosaria !!!

I visited the St. Peters Basilica several times, but never with a guided tour. Recommend this tour to anyone, the price is worth the service: not too long but very satisfying. A special thank to Rosaria, our guide, very knowledgeable and friendly.
