Blackness Castle
Small castle dated on XV century. It was used as a harbor for the burgh of Linlithgow. We will do a photostop (no castle visit).
Midhope Castle
Lallybroch in the series, it is a XVI century towerhouse. It will be closed some days in November 2023: 15/11, 22/11. Also between 22/12/2023 and 15/03/2024. During closing dates, we will visit Falkland instead.
Linlithgow Palace
Next stop brings you to Linlithgow and his palace. After visiting the monument we will have time to lunch
Doune Castle
Breathtaking fortress in the middle of two forests. It was a strategical location on the way to the North and a great example of how a castle was built on the medieval period.
Royal Burgh of Culross
The first stop is in Culross, a well preserved burgh which foundation is dated on XVII century. Time to enjoy the narrow streets and the abbey ruins.
Falkland
Falkland is a charming historic village known for its beautifully preserved Renaissance palace, quaint streets, and scenic surroundings. Fans of Outlander will recognize several locations here; most famously the village square, which appears as 1940s Inverness in the series. Visitors can enjoy traditional shops, inviting cafés, and easy access to peaceful woodland walks and rolling countryside.

Unforgettable experience
A very emotional experience, with a lot of history, which made it very interesting; I must highlight Mireia, our guide, who was up to the task of the trip, immersed us in Outlander and its history, and made us love Scotland.. 100% recommended tour

UNIQUE WONDERFUL MAGICAL AND SUPER COMFORTABLE
What a spectacular experience. It has been exceptional, what work and what places we have seen. Marta is unique, the best; how well she explains things, how affectionate and kind she is, and at the same time, how well she leads the group. I have no words, and Aida has amazed us with how well she drives and how kind she is. Unique, a trip I will never forget

Outlander Tour 04/09/2026
Upon leaving Edinburgh, we embarked with Águeda, a lover of Diana Gabaldon's work and its series adaptation, on a journey through time to the Scotland of the Jacobite risings. Águeda is able to convey this passion through facts, trivia, and contrasts with real history while we visited some of the most iconic locations from the series. If you are an Outlander fan, you definitely cannot miss this tour.

Our guide Mireia was lovely; she made the trip very pleasant and fun. I am very grateful that she also told us history about Scotland and its historical figures. A 10/10 guide!
