Met my beautiful Fairie Wife who was the group guide. A lovely lady who portrayed her role very well. Especially considering she’s 450 years old! Haha well her character was. It lasted just the right amount of time for a tour and it’s very close to Edinburgh Castle too. Just a few minutes walk. You should book your underground tour first as they sell out. I got the last spot with our group and four other time slots were already sold out too.
Dr. Knox is a fantastic storyteller! Although we saw no ghosts, we had fun learning a little about Edinburgh’s past and how that is reflected in the city today.
It was a good walk though old Edinburgh underground and graveyard.
Guide was great. His employer should get him a better torch for the graveyard and some shiny black boots with silver fittings.
