Midhope Castle is your next highlight. Unfortunately, visitors are unable to go inside the castle, but Jamie’s lovely Lallybroch home is still an essential photo opportunity for any fan of the show. Jamie’s family home, Lallybroch, is as lovely as it looks in the show.
Blackness Castle entrance included in tour price. The tough-looking castle looks like it could fend off an entire empire. And in Outlander, it impersonates Fort William.
Next is Linlithgow Palace, the birthplace of Mary, Queen of Scots, also known as Wentworth Prison. Here, you can have lunch, explore the town, or wander around the loch.
*Doune Castle entrance included in tour price. In Outlander, it’s the fictional Castle Leoch. And in reality, it’s a stunning castle with a tall gate house, an impressive great hall, and lovely views of the River Teith.
Finally, we head to Culross, a virtually unchanged 16th-century village that represents the fictional town of Cranesmuir. You can visit Claire's herb garden, explore the palace, or wander the ancient streets, imagining life 400 years ago.

- Luggage Allowance: You're restricted to 20kg (44lbs) of luggage per person. This should be one piece of luggage similar to an airline carry-on bag (approximately 55cm x 45cm x 25cm / 22in x 17in x 10in) plus one small bag for onboard personal items.

- In order to retain the integrity of the tour and try to ensure that all our customers have the best possible experience, we do cap bookings from any one party to 8 passengers.
- Culross Palace is closed over the winter months. Tickets are not included in the tour price.

Saw several Outlander locations, as well as tour narrative of general Scotland surroundings. Tour guide was very good in helping to acquire tix needed for entrance (if not pre-paid). Clear directions on where to go and accompanied us for several spots.
Great Outlander stops and also a whole lot of Scotland history from our guide. We were exhausted by the end of the day, but in a good way
This was an incredible tour, and our tour guide, Louise was absolutely incredible. She was a delight, and it would have been plenty of fun just riding around seeing the sights with her. But if course, this tour is so much more than that. Exploring the castles and sites connected with Outlander made for an incredible day out with my wife and my mother, both of whom are HUGE Outlander fans.

This was a great tour. I only wish we had a little more time in Linlithgow! We wanted more time to explore the palace, but had to cut it short to grab a bite. No time to take a quick peek in the shops either. Otherwise, we were thrilled to be able to go into Linlithgow Palace as well as Midhope Castle. When we took the tour almost 4 years ago, both places were closed to the public. We enjoyed all the stops and castles along the way. Our guide Stephen was informative, educational and funny.

Go for this one, amazing locations of Outalder (and other shows) . Our kind driver brought all the fun and knew a lot about the scenes filmed at each location. Plenty of time to look around each site, enjoy the scenery and of course take the perfect photos.
