Our guest will have a 1 hour drift snorkel exploration at different sights on the 2nd largest and most beautiful Coral reef barrier in the world and a underwater marine adventure of a life time here you will get to see beautiful colorful coral, fish and star fish and occasionally nurse sharks, after getting out of the water from your marine adventure its time for sun and relaxation and for your beach break, sinking your toes in white powdery sand or soaking up some warm crystal clear Caribbean water, with your own private waiter at your service you don't have to leave your chair for your beverages or ordering lunch. You will spend approximately 3 hours at this facility before heading back to your ship.

Meeting time is scheduled for one hour after your ship has docked at the port . Ship time and local time sometimes is different so we adjust the meeting time accordingly. If by any chance your ship arrival time changes the meeting time will remain one hour after your ship is docked . Our tour representatives are available at the port before your ship arrives . Rest assure that if you are unable to make it within the hour our representatives will be there waiting for you for up to 3 hours maximum after your ship scheduled docking time.
At Isla Tropical (Mohogany Bay Port), we will pick you up 1 hour after your ship has docked. Once you disembarked your ship, you will proceed to the Main Exit gate, where your driver and guide will be waiting for you holding a sign with your name . You will walk up the concrete hill and down to the exit gate. You can also take a cab to the gate if you do not want to walk.
For Coxen Hole, Port Roatan. We will pick you up 1 hour after your ship has docked or as soon as you can disembark your ship so we can beat the crowds and start with your activities . Once you have left your ship just walk past all the vendors and proceed to Exit Gate #2, where your driver and guide will be waiting for you holding a sign with our company logo RoatanBreakawayTours.
For Hotel's and Airbnb's if you don't see your address listed in our pick up list , please just send by text your location and happily we will be there to pick you up at your requested time .

Love love this tour!!
We had a great tour. We were surprised that it was a private tour so we have a van just for our family (2 adults and 2 small children) with AC! It was a great trip! We got to see animals, go snorkeling (and they included life jackets for our kids so we were all able to go!), and go to a small secluded beach where we found fish and some sea stars just by the shore! Our driver, Christian, was wonderful and everyone else we encountered was super nice and friendly. I highly recommend this tour to anyone!

Could be Better-Could be worse
First the good... Staff at the Snorkeling, Sloths & Monkeys, and Beach Break were ALL outstanding ! Friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful without rushing us. Sloths & Monkeys site was a unique experience, fun, entertaining, and worth "the price of admission" so to speak ! The beach at Brady's Cay was clean, nice sand, not crowded, reasonable drink prices, great staff there..........
NEXT, the less than great.... The Snorkel site in the French Harbour was not what we hoped for, and in the write-up it said we were to go to different sights (plural). We did not, just one snorkel site and the coral there was not very colorful, limited fish, and even less with high colors. It was nice, but could have been better if we went to a site called West Bay (Tabyana Beach), which may be one of the best on the Western hemisphere (i.e. Central America). At least that is what we read and saw online.

Our favorite port!
JJ was fantastic! Super easy to find him at the port. A short walk to the car he was very knowledgeable about the island. Had so much fun talking with JJ and all the stops were amazing. The animal sanctuary all the animals were well taken care of and very clean you can tell they are loved. The snorkeling was amazing! Such a beautiful reef with so much life! Then the beach club had such a good set up! So clean and easy to get food and drinks and watersports. Absolutely would reccomend this tour to everyone!
After a full day of fun JJ made sure we made it back to the boat on time!

Highly recommended - we loved it.
Wonderful day with Jennifer. Snorkeling was amazing - the reef is beautiful. Beach was quiet with crystal clear blue water.

Best Roatan excursion for cruise passengers!
Our excursion with Fabian was the best of our whole trip! We stopped at AJ's and got to play with monkeys, guinea pigs, sloths and parrots. Then we went to a beach and then snorkeling. Fabian's two boys were great guides for the snorkeling! I had such a good time that I would do this excursion if I went back to Roatan. Fabian even stopped at a pharmacy and chocolate factory because we asked him for a quick visit. We were picked up and spotted off right at the port. Just book this tour, you won't regret it!

This excursion was awesome for my partner and her family. The tour operator was very responsive pre-booking, and our tour guide, Fabian, was very accommodating. All three stops on the tour were amazing. The animal sanctuary, snorkeling, and beach break were all some of the best I've experienced in the Caribbean.

Well rounded excursion. Great for the whole family
Everyone was very nice and accommodating . The monkeys were great. The snorkeling was amazing and then relaxing on the beach was a great finish to our excursion. Our guide Melisa was great and attentive to our every need.

★★★★★ The Absolute Highlight of Our Cruise!
If I could give Roatan Breakaway Tours more than 5 stars, I would!
We booked a private guided tour during our cruise stop in Roatan, and the entire experience was incredible from beginning to end. We visited an animal sanctuary where we got up close with sloths, exotic birds, and monkeys — including having monkeys actually sitting on our shoulders! Never in a million years did we expect to have an experience like that. From there, we went snorkeling and then spent several hours relaxing on a beautiful private beach. Every part of the day was amazing.
But what truly made this excursion unforgettable was our personal guide, Jarmie Rankin.
Jarmie went above and beyond from the moment we met him. He made sure every part of our day was fun, interesting, and completely stress-free. More importantly, we felt 100% safe and comfortable with him the entire time. By the end of the excursion, he didn’t just feel like our tour guide — he felt like family. That personal connection is something we’ll remember long after the cruise itself.
I’m incredibly thankful that we chose Roatan Breakaway Tours, and even more grateful that we were lucky enough to have Jarmie as our guide. We did several excursions during our cruise, and this wasn’t simply the best one — it was the absolute highlight of our entire cruise!
A big shout-out also goes to Brandon, the owner/manager, who personally greeted us, checked in on us, and was there again at the end to make sure we’d had a great experience. That kind of personal attention says a lot about how this company operates.
And we can’t forget our driver, Garmin! He was fantastic and kept his attention where we wanted it — on those Roatan roads and getting us safely from Point A to Point B. 😄
If you’re visiting Roatan, I HIGHLY recommend Roatan Breakaway Tours. And when you book, do yourself a favor and request Jarmie Rankin as your guide. You’ll be in great hands.
