The sloth & monkey tour was excellent, after that we went to a rum tasting, chocolate factory and a private beach club. Also a city tour by our guide. Tatiana. She was excellent. We did have to pay extra at the beach club for chairs and an umbrella. There was a pool and bathrooms there too. All in all it was an excellent day. She got us back to the port in plenty of time to get on our ship.
Thank you for you support ☺️we can’t wait to see you again 🏝️
Our guide Malcolm was amazing! Very informative and friendly and accommodating. Best part was the jungle tour. Very interactive!!! The beach stop was a very nice location but w/o a day pass (can purchase there) the menu is prices I would pay in a US city, and you can’t lay on the beach, only access the water.

I booked a custom tour for 5 through this provider which, after some back and forth via WhatsApp, settled on the following: snorkeling stop, mangrove tour, village stop with lunch, and possibly chocolate factory. I told Luis that our family loves mangoes and pupusas, he assured me we would have a wonderful time. Malcolm picked us up at the tour meeting point, it’s chaotic but he had an easily identifiable sign. The first part of our drive he was talkative in telling us about the island and sights along the way. He told us this is mango season, they are falling from the trees and he would stop at a local fruit stand to get some. We got to the mangrove boat and Edward was our captain, he was very friendly and gave a nice tour, returning us to the dock. We then drove around the island and through the driver’s home village so we got to see pretty much the entire island which is really beautiful. We then stopped at the Mayak Chocolate Factory for about 30 minutes. It smelled wonderful and the frozen chocolate was good. While there Malcolm handed us a plastic bag of fresh cut, but completely unripe mango to share, kind of disappointing. We got back in the van and continued driving only to arrive back at the cruise dock by 12. No village, no lunch, no snorkeling and he was mostly silent for the whole second half of the drive. To be fair, we were late getting off the ship because of the time change, maybe that’s why we lost half the tour? It wasn’t communicated though. Take water with you, they provide nothing to drink along the way. Scheduling and payment was easily handled online but, bottom line, I wouldn’t book with this company again.
Hi! We’re so happy to hear that you enjoyed your excursion with us. It was truly a pleasure showing you around our beautiful island, and we can’t wait to welcome you back to Roatán! 🌴 Regarding the snorkeling, we don’t believe that was part of the tour you booked with us, and we don’t recall discussing snorkeling during the reservation process. It’s possible there may be some confusion with another tour or destination. We’re delighted that you enjoyed the experiences you had with us, and if you visit Roatán again and would like to add a snorkeling adventure, just let us know. We’d be more than happy to arrange it for you and make it another unforgettable experience!
Malcolm was amazing! After a short walk to his van, he told us a little bit about the island and answered about a million questions from my 10 year old. We first went to see the monkeys, sloths and macaw. That was the highlight of our trip!! We got to hold a monkey and a macaw, and we also got to take pictures with a sloth and fed another animal but I forgot what it was called. He then took us to a souvenir shop that had pretty much anything and it was not very expensive. We chose to skip the rum tasting and chocolate part and went straight to the beach. The beach was beautiful and there was a restaurant and bar right on the water. I wish we had a little more time at the beach, but they like to ensure you make it back to port on time so we left a little early. Malcolm dropped us off right inside the port entrance, so we didn't have to walk very far. I will definitely book with them again next time I'm in Roatan!
Thank you so much for you support ☺️we can’t wait for our next adventure on the island 🏝️
It was nice and enjoyable! I could definitely do it it again. Please bring good walking shoes, insect repellent and water.

We loved this excursion and would recommend it to all. The only confusing part was the meet up. We actually were walking to the address noted in our directions, when we were stopped and turned around. Everyone was so kind and helpful in finding our specific company/guide. (They tried to contact me, but I didn't have my internet working at the time - so my fault). Julian and our driver, Edward, were great. Julian was super friendly and engaging from the very start. She customized the tour for our family of 7. We skipped the rum portion, since we don't drink. She even went out of her way to find a banana flavored soda for our son in law and gave us each a little Roatan currency. She made this tour so fun. We LOVED having her as our guide and learned so much from her. She was engaging and made us all feel comfortable, making sure we returned to our ship in plenty of time. We would highly recommend this tour.

From the beginning of our tour Christian (Chris) shared information about the island, culture and more. The animal sanctuary was amazing with the monkeys and sloth were so cute. Make sure to wear a walking shoe- you will be walking thru hillside terrain… but worth it! We did the rum and chocolate factories that provided more local history. Loved the stop at paradise beach where we had time to swim and have refreshments for an hour. Note: the souvenir shop in this resort area had the best deals!! Highly recommend Christian he made Roatan a place we will visit again!

What an amazing tour and experience! Luis provided top notch customer service from the moment I booked until we arrived home from our cruise…honestly, I was blown away. We all adored our guide, Jillian and driver, Edward. They were so much fun, helpful, and knowledgeable- went above and beyond to ensure we had a great day. I’m so grateful for all of them and the wonderful family memories we made that day in Roatan. I HIGHLY recommend!

We just came off our 7 day Mardi Gras cruise and I have to say, Isla Roatan was our favorite island to visit!!! The experience Sandris tours provided exceeded our expectations. We cannot say enough about how pleasant, professional and knowledgeable our driver, Malcolm was! He took his time and asked if there was anything else we wanted to see on the island even after we visited the places on our itinerary. The tour itself was private which I didn’t know at first. It offered more of a personalized experience for our family. We went to a restaurant with an amazing view of the island and the food was phenomenal! The best part of our visit was the animal encounters. Edwin enhanced the experience by handling the animals so well while taking pictures for us. We didn’t have to leave our cameras behind and we didn’t have to pay extra for them either. Edwin even made sure that my daughter was safe when we encountered a grumpy baby sloth that took a slow swing at her lol and almost scratched her. They explained that because they are nocturnal animals, they tend to sleep more during the day and can be a little cranky. We felt safe and secure with the tour and I must admit I was nervous booking outside of our cruise, but Luis from Sandris tours made me feel comfortable the moment he sent me a text and provided pics of the company sign and logo. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone. If anyone books this private tour, Ask for Malcolme (Tour guide/Driver) and Edwin (animal encounter). You won’t be disappointed!!! From my family to yours and your team. Thank you for an amazing and unforgettable experience!!

We booked the Snorkeling / Sloth Park + Beach Break in Roatan tour for 4 people. Upon booking, we were given detailed instructions where to meet our guide (it's a little confusing, so the map helped). I emailed to confirm the trip one week in advance and was answered immediately to confirm - if you've ever dealt with a local tour company, you know that quick replies can be hit or miss, so I appreciated that! Our guide, Chris, was waiting exactly where he was supposed to be, and we walked a short distance to his vehicle - we got a private tour! First stop was the animal park to see the butterflies, monkeys, toucans, sloths, and other animals there. We got to hold monkeys, parrots and toucans, and we had a photo opportunity with their sloth (I only saw one). The park guide was quite interesting and knowledgeable. From there we visited chocolate and rum "factories" (more shops than real manufacturers, actually) before setting our for the beach. There was some confusion about which tour we'd booked; when I confirmed we booked the tour that included snorkeling, our guide pivoted instantly and took us to the snorkel boat, where it was our group of four and one other small group. The snorkeling was fantastic - 45 minutes on the reef where we saw dozens of varieties of beautiful tropical fish and interesting corals. We missed the beach break because of the confusion, but we didn't mind - we had a full morning and were ready to return to the ship by the end of the snorkel trip. We had a GREAT timeand would not hesitate to recommend Sandris - or Chris, our guide. We look forward to seeing you again!
