We’ll pick you up directly from your cruise port in a private vehicle and take you to learn about the conservation efforts to protect sloths, monkeys, and scarlet macaws. Next, we’ll visit a chocolate factory to learn about the production process and sample a variety of chocolates. Afterward, we’ll stop by a rum factory to taste rum cakes and different rums. Your final destination will be West Bay, one of Roatán's most beautiful beaches with its white sand and crystal-clear water. Here, you can relax at the Henry Morgan Resort with a day pass and enjoy all its amenities, including a restaurant and bar if you wish to purchase food or drinks. This mix of activities is perfect for those looking for both fun and relaxation.

Once your cruise arrives at the port, our team will meet you right outside the port when you arrive in Coxen Hole or at Mahogany Bay. You will be picked up in a private car with your personal driver, ensuring a personalized and private service. From there, we will set off to begin your excursion for the day.

Enjoy Scenic Views and Delicious Tastes. Visit our rum factory located near West Bay, where you’ll enjoy stunning views on the way. At the factory, you’ll get free samples of our famous rum cakes and a variety of rums.
You will be given a wristband for access to a reserved beach chair, restrooms, and a fresh-water shower at one of our partner resorts on West Bay Beach. Here, you'll receive all the attention and comfort for your beach day. After enjoying your time on the beach, you'll be returned to your ship on time according to your ship's schedule.
Timely and Convenient Return to the Port After your tour, we’ll take you back to the port with plenty of time before your cruise departs. We’ll leave you inside the port and make sure everything is in order before saying goodbye. Our goal is to provide a smooth and worry-free return, so you can relax and enjoy your trip.

Meeting time is one hour after your ship docks. You may disembark earlier, and if you arrive late, our representatives will wait for you MEETING INSTRUCTIONS FOR PORT OF ROATAN, COXEN HOLE: After disembarking, enter the port and pass the shops and artificial rocks to your right. Turn right towards “Piraña Joe” and continue straight, turning right before the “Tucán Gift Shop.” Follow signs towards “Port Offices,” “Taxi,” and “Exit” to a covered pavilion with tour company stalls. Proceed straight through to security gate 1. We will be outside with a “ROATAN TUCAN ADVENTURES” sign. INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAHOGANY BAY CARNIVAL CRUISE PORT: Walk through the Shopping Center and exit via the Covered Gangway. Turn left on the road and walk uphill to the Security Gate. Walk down the small hill; our staff will be at the bottom with a “ROATAN TUCAN ADVENTURES” sign.

Sloth and monkeys was a great experience. Rum and chocolate factory I would skipped , waste of time but was not much anyway, west bay beach very good and you can get excellent prices for water activities. Our guide very friendly and knowledgeable.
Our family took a shore excursion the previous day at another port that didn’t quite live up to our expectations. So we went into our day in Roatan with somewhat tempered expectations. Roatan Tucan Adventures quickly changed that. From the start, everything was easy. The directions for meeting our tour were clear, and even along the way, friendly locals helped point us in the right direction. Our tour guide, Tania, was fantastic. As we traveled around Roatan, she gave us a lot of interesting background and perspective about the island, its people and culture. She was incredibly knowledgeable, welcomed all of our questions and made the experience feel personal. We felt like we were actually getting to know a little bit about Roatan rather than simply being driven from one tourist attraction to another. One of our stops was at the eco park, where we were able to interact with monkeys, macaws and sloths and get some great pictures. We also visited the chocolate factory and rum company, which were both interesting, fun and, of course, tasty! We enjoyed them enough that we bought a few things to bring home with us. Our stop at West Bay Beach was another highlight. We had time to swim and enjoy the beautiful water while also watching some very creative local entrepreneurs making and selling drinks right from their kayaks in the ocean. We got a kick out of discovering that, yes, they even accept Apple Pay! Everything about the excursion exceeded our expectations. Tania was absolutely lovely and took great care of our family throughout the entire experience. She was friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely seemed to enjoy sharing her island with us. What started as a day we weren’t quite sure what to expect from ended up being one of the highlights of our cruise. We had a great time, learned a lot about Roatan and made some wonderful memories along the way. We highly recommend Roatan Tucan Adventures, and if you’re lucky enough to have Tania as your guide, you’re in great hands!
This was a wonderful trip. We had an amazing personal guide who was very patient and attentive and made sure that it was fantastic. I can’t say enough about Johny and how helpful he was and how much fun we had on every part of this adventure. It was our best excursion on our trip.
We got a private day with our guide, Emilio. Emilio was very informative and very professional. He took us everywhere and waited on us and answered all of our questions. We had an amazing time.
What a fantastic day... we were picked up by Carlos, a well spoken young man. He drove us to the Monkey Park where we had Monkeys and Macaws climb on us and able to see the Sloths up close. The Rum Factory was more a sales stop, as was the chocolate factory. But the Chocolate factory was interesting and the Rum very good. The Beach was the next stop and magnificent... the waters beautiful! Even got a massage on the beach for a fraction of the cruise ship price. Finished the day with a stop at a local restaurant recommended by Carlos for fresh lobster... a great meal. Carlos answered all our questions and was extremely accommodating. I recommend this tour to everyone of all ages.

We had an absolutely wonderful time on our tour of Roatán! The island is incredibly beautiful, with stunning scenery and so much to see. Our driver, David, made the experience even more special. He was friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable about the island, sharing interesting facts and making every stop enjoyable. David took excellent care of us throughout the day, making sure we were comfortable, safe, and having a great time.
