The tour starts by picking travelers at the port
We will discover the colorful streets of Sintra while hearing fantastic stories about its history. After having a walk through the center you will learn about the fascinating architecture behind the National Palace in Sintra and before leaving you will taste its unique and delicious pastry, a delicacy which locals have been selling for more than two hundred years.
After, we will enter a place that will make you feel in wonderland: Palace of Quinta da Regaleira. A place full of magic, romantic architecture and beautiful gardens. You will walk through its caves before you get to know the famous 27 meter iniciatic well and the stories behind it. This will be a guided visit.
We will stop for a few minutes to admire the amazing views of this 19th century summer palace. You will learn about its famous owner and his exorbitant hobbies, while admiring the unique architecture behind it. If you want to visit the interior of palace, let us know with anticipation.
Embark on a beautiful drive where you will encounter the picturesque and hidden towns of Colares and Penedo until we reach the coastline and the amazing village of Azenhas do Mar. Azenhas do Mar offers one of the best viewpoints where you will be able to appreciate this breathtaking fisherman’s town.
We will stop at this amazing rock cliff beach in the coast. In Praia Grande you will have lunch in a beachfront local restaurant that offers delicious sea food and meat choices. For those curious to try Portuguese cuisine, this is the perfect place.
Explore the impressive coastline through secret places on our way to Cabo da Roca- The westernmost point of continental Europe. This place is what we call the end of the world. Be ready to admire the magnificent views and its cliffs.
End the day with the most colorful and magnificent palace in Sintra: the Pena Palace. A national monument that constitutes one of the major expressions of 19th-century Romanticism in the world. It is unique and it’s a classic example of the romanticism period in Portugal and in Europe. At the top you will have the best views toward Lisbon, Sintra, and Cascais. This will be a guided visit.
Admire this X century castle in the middle of the lush forest of Sintra. You will get to know about the North African Moors who build it and about the Christians who conquered it 4 centuries later. If want to visit in the inside let us know with anticipation.

This was one of the best tours I have ever done. Maya, who was our guide, was fantastic. Even before she picked us up at the cruise ship, we were texting like old friends. She was so knowledgeable, funny, and just a true joy to spend the day with. All of the admissions were arranged in advance and everything was planned out and well organized. Even with our ship letting us off an hour late, Maya was able to get everything in and nothing felt rushed. There was exactly the right amount of walking and down time while we got the history and backstory of the places we were visiting. Maya also adapted a lunch stop to got out needs. We would 100% use this company again! I travel a lot and this was one I will always remember.

We had a great day touring the sintra region with our guide Francisco. Easy pick up and drop off at our apartment and the tour was a good mixture of history and sight seeing for our kids ages 8, 10 and 12. The lunch spot on the ocean was really great with local seafood.
Francisco was absolutely fantastic and the tour was incredible. He was very knowledgeable, very pleasant, knew how to make sure we were all comfortable and was very accommodating. The tour itself was great and exactly what we were looking for. We travel a lot and this is by far the best tour and tour guide we had. Would book again when we come back.
We had a great time on this private tour of Sintra and Pena Palace. Sintra was absolutely beautiful, and Francis helped make the experience even more enjoyable. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the history, culture, and sites we visited, and he shared information in a way that was both interesting and easy to follow. He was also very patient with us as we stopped frequently to take photos! A couple things we really appreciated: - Francis was happy to help take photos and videos for us throughout the day, which allowed us to capture some great memories together. He never made us feel rushed and was very accommodating to our pace. - The tour had proactively bought us tickets to visit a palace that we wouldn't have known to buy ahead of time and thus wouldn't have been able to visit. Great planning ahead! Overall, this was a fantastic experience and a highlight of our time in Portugal. We would highly recommend both the tour and Francis to anyone visiting Lisbon.
We had a great tour to Sintra! Our guide John was excellent. He provided us with the history of Sintra, Peña Palace and Quinta da Regaleira. The tour was relaxed and never felt rushed. The restaurant recommended for lunch was terrific and had a view of the Atlantic! From the convenience of hotel pickup, to all the recommendations, our family loved the experience!
