This is more than just a meal. It’s an immersive journey into authentic sushi culture. This unique experience goes beyond simply enjoying delicious sushi — it’s a rare chance to understand the techniques, traditions, and philosophy of Edomae Sushi at a real sushi counter in Kanda, created by a locally loved sushi shop. You’ll interact directly with a professional sushi chef while being guided in English through the evolution of sushi. The experience features a 14-piece tasting of fine sushi, including a comparison of various cuts of tuna. As you eat, you’ll explore: – Techniques such as simmering, searing, marinating, and wrapping – How rice preparation changes flavor – A tasting comparison between standard and premium ingredients – Tools used by sushi chefs – The taste and aroma of real wasabi You’ll also step behind the counter, experience the chef’s workspace, and take commemorative photos. Perfectly suited for everyone, from families with kids to solo travelers.

- A Kids' Room is available for children up to 12 years old. Please note that childcare services are not provided.
- When booking the child plan, the meal served is not the same sushi course as the adult plan. Instead, a kid-friendly meal will be provided. Seating will also differ — children will be seated in the Kids Room or in a child-designated seat, not at the sushi counter. If your child would like to enjoy the full 14-piece sushi course at the counter alongside adults, please make the reservation under the adult plan.

One of the highlights of our trip to Japan. The sushi was exceptional, and the chef and staffs made the experience truly special with their warm hospitality and attention to detail. We especially enjoyed learning about the ingredients, techniques, and stories behind each course. What impressed us most was how family-friendly the experience was. While the adults enjoyed the omakase, our daughter had her own meal and activities, which made the evening enjoyable for everyone. It felt like much more than a meal, it was a memorable cultural experience that our family will always cherish.
This is a truly unique omakase experience for those wishing to not only have excellent sushi, but learn more about it. I went with my 16 year old daughter and it wasn’t as intimidating as some other places but still retained the authentic omakase expedite. I truly have a greater understanding for the art and culture behind sushi. Highly recommend!

My family visited Reona Sushi a few weeks ago. We were fortunate to be the only guests for the whole experience thus we received unparalleled attention to our numerous questions. Undoubtedly, you will learn the history or sushi, important cultural aspects that Japan places on the industry and oversll dining etiquette. I highly recommend Reona….and the picture with the Itamae.

We had a really enjoyable evening and it was a great honour to have our food prepared by a sushi master.,Even more special was the fact that the two of got to enjoy the experience on our own. The food was delicious. I was taken out of my comfort zone slightly having to experiment eating sea urchin & eel, but I can honestly say that all 16 dishes were delicious. Having the history behind the sushi art made the evening informative & more personalised. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves & we we also enjoyed the Saki wine flight too.

A new experience you will not forget. We ultimately chose this restaurant because it was family friendly. Parents got to enjoy wonderful food and conversation and learn so much about Edomae sushi while children enjoyed playing with lego and eating their own lunch within our sight. A date night on a family trip! Staff was very kind to the children and they loved their meals too. Meal accommodated for shrimp allergy. I enjoyed understanding the history of the food I was eating and asking the chef questions. Service was exceptional. My favorite part of the trip to Japan.
