Pelion Boat Trip to "Poseidon's Caves"

Our tour guide was incredibly friendly and polite, with excellent knowledge of the area’s history, making the whole experience even more special. GREAT boat trip from Ag. Ioannis north along the Pelion coast! Dolphins playing with us, snorkling above a ship from the WWII, swimming in different spots, even in the caves, music and laughter and valuable info from Dimitris our captain.

Dream come true! Our guide was extremly knowledgeable, had a lot of humour and looked like a greek god. Whats not to like. 😁 He took really good care of everyone and even helped a lady that was scared to swim, so she could experience even the caves and basically took her under his wings.

Dimitri was simply amazing. Great experience with small group. Both the time on the water and the history explained made the trip. As a retired Army Colonel previously assigned to Greece, it was great to be back.

We had such a great time on the boat trip to Poseidon’s Cave. If you’re considering it but are a little put off by the 4-hour duration, don’t be. It really doesn’t feel that long at all. There’s so much to see and explore that the time goes by incredibly fast. Alexandros, our guide, was very friendly and knew the area really well. He told us a lot about the beaches, caves and the surroundings, which made the whole experience even more interesting. We explored Poseidon’s Cave, a shipwreck area in the water and also stopped at a beautiful beach that can’t be reached otherwise. The whole experience was so much fun and we got some really beautiful photos along the way. I’d definitely recommend bringing swimming goggles, and fins if you want to explore more underwater. As for price we paid 75€/person and the boat had a capacity of 12 people.

Fantastic private tour with Alex who was a masterful skipper and shared many details about the trip and the history of Pelion area. Can’t wait to come back and have an extended tour. Pelion is an amazing area to explore from the sea.

Our group of 12 booked the whole boat and had a great day out! The boat was very capable, in great condition, and had enough space and everything we needed. The captain, Alexandros, was friendly, knowledgeable, and very skilled. His enthusiasm for the sea and sharing the region's facts and legends added a lot to the trip. We all enjoyed great swims, snorkeling, exploring caves, and cliff jumping. I highly recommend this trip.
