The guide was very friendly but it was rushed. It lasted about 1 hr although advertised for two hrs. Rest of the time was wait and pastry and drink afterwards. The bread we made didn’t taste very good…

Description
Discover what makes French pastries truly special by stepping inside a working Parisian boulangerie — not just to watch, but to bake like the artisans do. Proudly named Viator Experience Award Winner in 2023 & 2024, this tour is recognized among the top-rated family experiences for guest satisfaction and authenticity. During this 2-hour experience, you and your family will learn how iconic French breads and pastries are created from scratch, in the very place where locals buy their daily baguettes. Unlike tourist-style demos, this visit offers real behind-the-scenes access to the production area — where dough is mixed, folded, laminated, and baked before sunrise. Children and adults roll up their sleeves to: • Shape baguettes and rustic breads • Roll their own croissant Kept intentionally small (max. 9 guests), this award-winning experience is intimate, family-friendly, and deeply authentic — a chance to step behind the counter and access a world normally hidden from the public.

It was a fun experience. Our tour guide was wonderful. We have plenty of bread to bring home. We enjoyed all the information
This wasn’t what we expected but it was a ton of fun. They give you tons of different croissants, baguettes, and financiers to take home. We expected to learn about the lamination process which they don’t talk about at all though.
A lovely Sunday morning at the boulangerie making cake, croissants and baguettes. The tutor was brilliant and made it fun. I would highly recommend going.
The location/bakery changed because a larger party was at the first place. No one reached out to us or let us know of the change. We showed up 15 mins early and were an hour late to the new location because it was across town. This was horribly planned but the guy at the other location was very sweet. Would NOT recommend this and the other two couples we were with agreed this was horrible.
Laura was amazing, she taught with patience and humor. We very much enjoyed our experience and will be telling our friends to try and make sure Laura is their guide! It was very fun to learn about baguettes, croissants and the financier desserts!
An absolutely amazing experience . We had the best time learning about the art of making bread and pastry but get our hands floured and working with the dough made it all the better ! And you get to take delicious bread home
This was a fun activity seeing behind the scenes of a bakery with a wonderful French pastry chef. We mixed ingredients for financiers, formed prepared dough into baguettes and croissants, and carried home goodies. We were served cappuccino and pastries before the class started. The building is very old with narrow steep stairs which might be a challenge for some.
Such a fun experience! The host was super friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. We got a free pastry and drink in the beginning and walked out with the deserts and bread we made and were able to have sandwiches for lunch and dinner! We met other people and had a hoot of a time! Only down sides were the last minute change to the meeting spot and not being able to taste the croissants. Otherwise my friend and I loved this and would do it again!
This was such a phenomenal experience! We saw the back of the bakery, got to roll out our own baguettes, make financiers and roll croissants. It was a 12/10 experience and such a fun activity. Highly recommend!
