Description

It all starts with a warm cup of tea or coffee before jumping right into the crafting of your own Buttery Croissant, Pain au Chocolat (or chocolate croissant) and the Pain au Raisin ! Small groups of 8 allow the chef to follow closely how you learn new skills and knowledge. First, discover the equipment, the ingredients, and the theory behind the making of the croissant. You will be making it from scratch with quality ingredients we selected from our local producers. Then kneading the predough is where it all begins. You will provide the last ingredient with the rolling pin as you roll out the finished dough from which you will shape your own pastries! Time will do the rest while they rest and bake. It all ends well with the tasting of what you have baked and the always instructive chat about your trip to Paris. We, as chefs, are very happy to give you our culinary advice, recommendations, and opinions and also learn from you. Don’t forget to take away the leftovers!

A highlight of our trip

What a fun experience. Definitely a highlight of our trip. Took the class with my husband and daughter. The class was small and personalized. We learned to make the BEST croissant I had while in Paris! She shared her expertise and had fun with our group. Would HIGHLY recommend!

Making delicious croissants!

It was a small group and it is a hands on baking experience. You make the croissants from start to finish. The instructor explained everything and was extremely helpful. They were absolutely delicious.

Buttery Layers and Even Better Instruction

I recently took a croissant-making class with Lancelot and it was fantastic from start to finish. Lancelot was incredibly informative, walking us through every step — laminating the dough, folding technique, shaping, and proofing — with clear explanations that made even the trickier parts feel manageable. Beyond the technical skill, Lancelot was friendly, helpful, and genuinely fun to work with. The class had a relaxed with welcoming vibe. Lancelot was always ready with a tip or a laugh to keep things moving. I left the class with a batch of golden, flaky croissants and — more importantly — the confidence to make them at home. I'm already excited to give it a try myself and family and friends are excited for my new skill. Highly recommend this class to anyone who loves pastry and wants a fun, hands-on way to learn from someone who clearly loves what they teach.

An absolute must in Paris

An absolute must with the family when visiting Paris. We took our 10 year-old twin girls and they had a blast. A very fun and informative class which was easy and laid-back. Location is great. The instructor was phenomenal. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone with a family or even a couple. If you do an early morning class, make sure to have some coffee or light breakfast as you will not be done until about noon.
