Our originally scheduled guide had to cancel and they did their best to get another guide at another time. Davide end up being our guide and met us at our hotel. We started the tour and it was very good; pointing out certain areas along the way and a good conversationalist. We started to tire out towards the end and didn’t go into the castle and/or Duomo. Davide gave us other ideas and places to visit th next day or later in the evening.
Disappointed, no hidden gems and no real history you couldn’t read on AI.
Guide was very nice but had poor English and didn’t know much about the history of Milan. Waste of money frankly.

Susanna is knowledgable, friendly, engaging and patient. She really knows this city. The Santuario di San Bernadino alle Ossa was absolutely fascinating and makes one realize how lucky we all are to be alive in this era of modern medicine. Susanna helped us learn the world famous fashion district, and how the real Milan is hidden behind the walls. The real estate of the fashion district is opulent and historic. We saw brilliant statues and walked the garden of Gregor Mendel, the site of one of humanity’s greatest intellectual leaps. Tour with Susanna if you want to learn the fascinating political history of Italy, as various kings and queens fought for sovereignty. Be ready to walk, because this Lady can go!

We spent more time on subways then we did walking. Saw some of Milan's highlights: Domo, Galleria and the Castle......... but no " hidden gems". This tour is very poorly structured. We learned very little about the general history of Milan.
