Milan Private Tour: Highlights & Hidden Gems with a Local

Sara was our Milan City tour guide. She was excellent. Her art history knowledge made the tour even more special. We really had the best experience .

I had a wonderful experience with Sara. She researched my interests and made an itinerary that was efficient and allowed me to see several different parts of the city. She is very knowledgeable about contemporary artists and introduced me to a number of Italian artists with which I was not familiar. She also sent me the itinerary and shared her photos, which was very helpful. It was a great day! I would definitely want her for a guide again!

We had a really lovely morning with Salvatore in Milan! We'd just arrived hours earlier and this was a good way to not only see some of the main sites in the city but also some maybe lesser known areas and tips that only a local would know. Additionally, Salvatore was so helpful in teaching us how to use the metro in Milan (we're used to the NY subway) and we ended up almost exclusively using the metro to get around during our entire stay in Milan. Super, super useful + helpful tour!

Michela was a true local and knew her way around Milan. Both her historical and local facts about the city were great.

Have done several guided walking tours with locals in other cities, and this City Unscripted tour did not disappoint. We booked the 3 hour tour which was definitely enough time to lay the groundwork for Milano. Dani was our guide; she recognized that we had just arrived in Milano that morning and kept the pace somewhat leisurely so that we were not overwhelmed. She accommodated our request to skip Santa Maria delle Grazie and instead took us to the Santuario di San Bernardino alle Ossa. Dani was a wealth of information regarding the history of Milano, the Duomo, and Sforzesco Castle. She reminded us to bring our passports for our visits to see the Last Supper the following day, and thank goodness she did! She also gave us time to stop for a drink/gelato during the tour. Excellent recommendations for aperitivo and places to find reasonably priced fashion and artwork.

Tiziana was a absolutely wonderful guide. She immediately set a tone of great interest and genuine care. It was clear that her background in history and arts was well-established as was her enthusiasm for sharing it. She also listened intently and I feel that her attentiveness to my interests and questions led her to sharing even more. She was also able to help me orient to the city layout, which directly enhanced my comfort level of navigating around it later on my own. And she was on-the-spot flexible to help manage through the intensive heat while not sacrificing any part of the itinerary. I was a bit concerned about doing this trip solo - but Tiziana put me at great ease with her seasoned and personalized guidance and contributed to this being an amazing experience. When I return to Milan, I will definitely arrange to spend time with Tiziana!

We had a lovely time w Lisa. Pleasant and well spoken. Took her time to show us all the important parts of Milan esp what we were interested in. Best to do a warm day and not a hot day. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely time with Michela. She is charming and personable and we really enjoyed hearing her views of Milan as someone who grew up in the city.

Truly wonderful experience walking through Milan and learning about its history, culture and landmarks. Suggest starting in early morning or late afternoon to avoid walking in the summer heat. Dani was so kind, warm and gracious with her time and knowledge.
