Great tour with a knowledge and entertaining guide. Learned about the whisky and some interesting history of Edinburgh! Just pay attention to tje warning about the steps, but if you made it there, likely not an issue for you.

This experience deals more with the history of the area not the whiskey itself, however during and through out the experience we tried a variety of local whiskey not the ones you would normally know the names of, they were nice whiskeys it unknown to us.

It was absaloutly fantastic, the guide picked out specificly what she saw we liked, but the whisky wasnt even the best part. The guide was funny she was funny, knew all about the whiskeys told us storys, and was the absolute cherry and the frosting on top of the cake, my brothers birthday was and she picked out the really best of the best for him. Its a absolutely one of the highlights of our trip. I wouldn’t say it was expensive i would say it cost because you got what you paid for and more. The atmosphere in a old prison was fantastic,Thank you so much.

My husband is a whiskey/scotch lover. I try hard to find something to like, so we can drink together. We have been unsuccessful for 10 years, and this tour ended the streak. I really enjoyed four of the five, which is genuinely incredible and unexpected for me. My personal favorite part is being able to taste the difference between the five whiskey regions of Scotland. Five samples came from five regions, and the difference can definitely be tasted. My husband loved all five. Just as an example, one of our samples was about £40 for one finger. Our guide, Haley, was TOP NOTCH. She was very knowledgeable, funny, kind, helpful and fun! From a scotch lover and a picky drinker, we would highly recommend this tour. Honestly, if we knew we'd get five different samples, we would do this again. PS if your guide is Haley, make sure to call her Steve. 😂

The selection was incredible (see photos), our hostess Haley was knowledgeable and extraordinary, and tasting in a lost close underground was perfect. Got this tasting mostly for my husband, but I enjoyed it, too. Haley was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, engaging and funny. Loved her knowledge of both the process and history of scotch, as well as great tips for connoisseur and newbie tasters both. Great quirky atmosphere in an unusual and intimate venue. Highly recommended!
