Luxor & Kings’ Valley Private VIP Tour with Pick up

Top tour. Everything was great, starting with the pickup at the hotel (punctual and top drivers Osama and Mohammed) to the tour. I would like to highlight our Egyptologist Nash, who is very competent. We can recommend the provider without reservation.

A dreamlike beautiful day in Luxor. 4 AM hotel pickup and then Mohammed drove us super safely and sensibly to Luxor where Naschaat, our guide, was already waiting for us. Then we went to the Luxor Temple, where we were almost alone due to our early arrival. Naschaat explained a great deal to us and impressed us with his truly expert knowledge. Afterward, we drove to the Valley of the Kings, which was very interesting. After that, we could choose for ourselves whether we wanted to go to the Temple of Hatshepsut or the Workers' Temple. We decided on the Workers' Temple, which we did not regret. Beautiful and very well-preserved wall paintings and a very good explanation by Naschaat. After that, a short photo stop at the Colossi of Memnon and then a boat trip on the Nile. Arriving on the other side of the bank, there was a really delicious lunch, after which we gratefully said goodbye to Naschaat and Mohammed brought us back safely to the hotel. Conclusion: Very nice excursion, absolutely safe and friendly driver Mohammed and a top-notch guide Naschaat gave us a wonderful day. Many thanks for that.

We would like to highlight the flexibility of Memnon Reisen. First, we had to cancel our booked excursion for health reasons. However, we were able to reschedule, and so we had unforgettable days in Luxor. Mohamed and Emil were very friendly, informative, and professional. 100% recommended and would love to do it again.

Anyone who has not yet booked this VIP tour to Luxor and its sights with Memnon should do so quickly. Starting with the driver, who arrived for pickup early in the morning right on the second, he was very courteous and a safe driver with a well-maintained limousine. Then our guide Malek came and enchanted us for 2 days and amazed us with his knowledge. An Egyptian with fluent German and more knowledge about Germany and German soccer than many Germans. He explained everything fantastically and provided extensive and detailed information about the sights. Book this guide!! The two lunches were very good. Overnight accommodation at the 5-star Steigenberger in Luxor right on the Nile, which we had previously traveled on with a small cutter, was simply great. But the best part was that Malek managed to lure us into certain bazaars. A total of 10 out of 10 stars and highly recommended.

We had a wonderful day in Luxor and were really thrilled. Everything was very well organized, from the pickup to the return trip, everything went smoothly. Our guide was very friendly and told us a lot about the various sights. We found it especially nice that he addressed all questions and explained everything in an understandable way. We saw a great deal on this day and took away many great impressions. For us, it was an all-around successful excursion that we would book again like this at any time. A fantastic day! Super guide, great drivers, everything worked out perfectly. We learned a lot and are impressed by the Egyptian culture. The tour to Luxor was very well organized, even though we booked the trip at the last minute. The trip from Safaga started punctually at 4:45 AM. With a stopover, it lasted until about 8:00 AM. Upon arriving in Luxor, our guide Naschaat Obaid Saad joined us. He inquired about our interests and helped us customize the day. Right at the beginning, he accompanied us to the mortuary temple of Ramses III., which was still surprisingly empty at that time. The next stop was the Luxor Temple. In both locations, he shared his extensive knowledge with us and left no question unanswered. His expertise seems to be nearly boundless. In a wonderful way, he managed to convey insights about the ancient Egyptian language and way of life into modern times and present them vividly. In the Valley of the Kings, he took his time and advised us on which tombs were particularly worth visiting, as the entrance ticket only allowed for three tombs to be visited. He showed us pictures of the individual tombs on his smartphone, so we could already get an impression in advance. He himself was not allowed to enter the tombs, but he waited for us each time at the entrance. Before the Nile cruise, we made a brief detour to the Colossi of Memnon. Naschaat had already warned us about the poor condition of the statues, so the disappointment was not too great when we finally saw them. During the approximately 30-minute Nile cruise, we enjoyed hibiscus tea and the cool breeze. As is customary, we gave the boatman a tip of two US dollars. The final meal at the restaurant was good. There was an appetizer with salad, a main course, and a dessert. The drinks were – as stated – not included in the price, but the prices for them were reasonable. Around 3:30 PM, we began our return journey and were back at the hotel by around 7:00 PM. We are very grateful that Naschaat accompanied us and allowed us to share in his extraordinary knowledge. He made this day an unforgettable experience for us. We would go on tour with him and Memmnon Reisen again at any time.

As a family of 5 we had an amazing time on this tour. Harbi & the 2 drivers were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. They were very friendly & professional. Harbi is an excellent tour guide with a highly detailed knowlege of Egypt which he makes easy to understand & fun. The lunch was excellent too, lots of great tasting local food served by very friendly staff. The boat ride on the Nile with hibiscus tea & coffee was beautiful. Karnak & Hatshepsut temples & the Valley of the Kings were amazing. The whole tour was incredible with plenty of time to look at everything & the personal touch from everyone involved. It was a wonderful tour from Marsa Alam to Luxir with overnight stay in a 5 star hotel and back. We as a couple were picked up directly from the hotel and taken directly to Luxor with a fun but safe driver. Our expert companion Osama was already waiting for us there. Everything was prepared, food, accommodation and also all tickets. After the overnight stay, we started in the morning on the historical exploration of Luxor jnd the surrounding area.
