⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent day trip — absolutely worth it! We had a fantastic day exploring the Lake District with BusiBus. I went with my husband, my two children (aged 2 and 7) and my mother-in-law, who absolutely loved the experience. Our guide was an absolute delight — unfortunately, I’m terrible with names and I can’t remember his! 😅 He was incredibly friendly, attentive and clearly put a lot of care into making sure everyone was having a great time. He even gave my children some lovely iron-on patches, which was such a sweet little gesture and made the experience even more special for them. The minibus was very comfortable and pleasant, and the whole day was really well organised. We all enjoyed it, including my mother-in-law, who had a wonderful time. This review is long overdue — I was supposed to write it back in July, so I’m sure our lovely guide has been wondering where it was for the past month! Better late than never, I hope. 😄 Thank you for such a lovely day and for making our Lake District trip such a memorable experience. Highly recommended, especially for families!
Fantastic experience. Scenery spectacular. Guide was very friendly and accommodating.
The Lake District tour was truly magical. I never imagined we could see places that looked so much like Switzerland. Thank you so much to our knowledgeable driver, tour guide, and storyteller, Shelly. She made the tour so lively and engaging, and her wonderful stories made us feel like we were part of the tales she shared. It was an unforgettable experience!
very well organized and Alan is a star. The Lakes area is impressive!! It is very much worth it. It was a wonder
It was a fun trip. Allen was very helpful and humorous throughout the trip, guiding us through every stop during the trip. Boating in the Lake district is a must do activity when visiting.
Superb experience in the heart of nature, under the English sun! Adrian was fabulous, attentive, with a huge amount of knowledge to share with us. I had a wonderful time thanks to the Busy Bus service.
Long day of driving but worth it for the views. I'd skip the walk across the lakeside as it's hard on the feet without the right shoes. Lake cruise is mediocre to dull.
Thank you for your review and for sharing your feedback. We're pleased to hear you felt the day was worth it for the views. The amount of driving on the tour is in line with our advertised itinerary, as we cover a lot of spectacular scenery throughout the day. We also recommend that guests bring comfortable walking shoes, as the walk to Blea Tarn follows tracks and uneven paths. That said, the walk is entirely optional, and our guide lets everyone know on the day that you can take part in as much or as little of the walking as you wish. With regards to the lake cruise, this is an optional activity that is not arranged or operated by BusyBus, so guests are free to choose whether or not they wish to participate. Thank you again for your feedback, and we hope to welcome you on another BusyBus adventure in the future.
Great day in the Lake District! Would recommend to anyone. Take the boat ride and enjoy the gingerbread!
