Itinerary
Start your adventure with a scenic drive from Liverpool to the Victorian seaside town of Llandudno. Stroll along its sand and pebbled beaches, wander its famous pier, and take in the stunning coastal views.
Next, cross the iconic Conwy Suspension Bridge into the walled town of Conwy, one of Britain’s best-preserved medieval towns.
Your journey continues to the historic walled town of Conwy, where you’ll have free time to explore. You may choose to visit Conwy Castle (additional cost), see the Smallest House in Britain on the marina, or walk along the medieval castle walls. This stop is also the perfect chance to enjoy a traditional Welsh lunch, and we recommend Fisherman’s Fish & Chips on the main high street.
The adventure continues as you journey into Snowdonia National Park, the second largest national park in the UK. In true BusyBus style, you’ll go off the beaten path and have the chance to spot native sheep and wild ponies before taking a short walk up the Ogwen Valley to capture some memorable photos. Many guests consider this the highlight of the day!
The tour then continues to the picturesque village of Betws-y-Coed, a perfect place to stretch your legs and explore. Here you can browse traditional shops, pick up souvenirs, and take a look at the old train station that adds to the village’s charm. It’s also an ideal stop to enjoy a refreshment — perhaps an ice cream on a warm day or a hot coffee when the weather is cooler.
The tour makes a stop at the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, one of Britain’s most remarkable feats of engineering and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This true icon of Welsh industrial heritage offers a chance for those feeling brave to walk across the aqueduct alongside kayaks and canal boats. Don’t miss the opportunity to capture a photo from the middle, with the River Dee flowing far beneath your feet.

Our guide Anthony was amazing! We love that he gave us an amazing experience of what Wales was like. We went to some really cool places. Admission fee was well spent. Next time I’m in Wales, I hope he’s our guide again :).
Great tour and fantastic guide.
Had a great experience on this tour of North Wales. Anthony was our tour guide and we thoroughly enjoyed his commentary! He had a great way of explaining things taking into account that there were many different nationalities on the trip. We loved his humor and take on life! The scenery was breathtaking ,and the stops we made were perfect choices for a snapshot of North Wales. The bus was comfortable and air conditioned. Definitely recommend this trip!
We had a fantastic day tour! The stops were perfectly chosen: Great Orme, Conwy, Snowdonia, and the impressive aqueduct. The breathtaking views in the national park were a definite highlight. A huge shoutout to our driver and guide, Anthony. He kept us highly entertained all day long with fascinating facts, funny anecdotes, and an amazing karaoke session! The only minor drawback was the space in the van. It was quite 'cozy' and cramped, especially in the back row. Nevertheless, it was an unforgettable trip, and thanks to Anthony, highly recommended!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Unforgettable North Wales Experience! We had such a wonderful time on our North Wales tour. Everything was very well organised, enjoyable and full of beautiful moments. A huge thank you to the whole team, including everyone working behind the scenes, for all the effort that went into making the experience so special. A very special thank you to Anthony Ankrah. Anthony is genuinely an exceptional guide and person. His positive energy, kindness, humour, professionalism and warm personality made a huge difference to our day. He has a natural ability to bring people together and make everyone feel like one big family rather than just a group of tourists. Anthony didn’t simply show us North Wales; he made the journey itself part of the experience. He was knowledgeable, helpful, patient and incredibly attentive throughout the day. You can really see that he cares about the people he is travelling with and wants everyone to have the best possible experience. My family and I came away with beautiful memories, lots of photos, and a day we will remember for a long time. I’m staying in the UK for quite a while, and after this experience I would absolutely choose another tour with Anthony again. Highly recommended — and if you have the opportunity to have Anthony as your guide, you are very lucky! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Overall good experience, bus was a bit all and not very clean, the service was just OK
I highly recommend to work with this Reliable company BusyBus. This tour company is great since it is working with cruise docking/departing time. This tour company guaranties to bring you back in advance before departing. Our guid Frank was great. He introduces not only the history but also the culture of Wales. He interacts with us throughout the tour by using fun quizzes. enjoy taking this tour. Nadine
Pathetic. Incredible to take people for fools to this extent.
We are sorry to understand you didn't like the day out but you give us no specific reason. Negative reviews should have some content or context to explain the displeasure. Maybe you could enlighten us?
Wonderful places, a great variety of experiences (nice towns and settlements, mountains, landscapes, coast, aqueduct etc.) One disadvantage: our guide (Adrian) has a strong dialect that we hardly understood him.
Thank you for your 4-star review and for sharing your feedback. We're delighted you enjoyed the variety of places and experiences included in the tour. We're sorry to hear you found Adrian's accent difficult to understand. Adrian has a typical British regional accent, and as our tours are delivered in English, accents can naturally vary between our guides. We appreciate that this may take some getting used to for visitors who are less familiar with British accents. We're pleased that you otherwise enjoyed your day exploring North Wales, and we hope to welcome you back again in the future.
It was a great trip! Our tour guide Shelly was such a good storyteller and told us so many interesting stories and facts about Wales. Even if i was travelling solo, there was not a single dull moment in the entire trip. Enjoyed it quite a lot!
