Look up and see buildings and hear stories.
As someone who grew up in the 80s and 90s and who left in the 00s but comes back to visit often - this trip was in parts a trip down memory lane, but in others a chance to see Belfast from a different perspective and to hear about buildings and their experiences that we often walk past without looking up or thinking too much about the history of them.
Barney is a great tour guide. He is informative, friendly and so genuine.
This is also a tour that doesn’t rely on knowing the political or historical past that this city has had. I loved it and would highly recommend this.
Operator response
Alison, that is a wonderful review, thank you so much.
P.S I was at TenX9 this month and didn't recognise you from having told a story.

Local history through well-researched stories
Barney was an excellent tour guide and he spent considerable time and effort researching the subject matter to make it unique and interesting. It’s not an architectural tour but rather local history rooted in where events happened. We covered a lot of ground and were able to briefly venture inside some of the buildings. Recommend!
Operator response
Lovely comment Cynthia, thank you very much and it was a pleasure meeting you both.
