We were expecting earphones to listen to the commentary or pre recorded commentary. This was not the case and the audio from the bus driver which was undoubtedly excellent was very difficult to hear. We lost at least half of the information due to poor volume and clear auduorty. So disappointed 😞
Not as interesting as other cities. Better to do on your own Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxx
Dear Ralph, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that you didn’t find the City Sightseeing Belfast tour as interesting as sightseeing independently. Every city offers a different experience, and we appreciate that our hop-on hop-off tour may not suit every visitor. Nevertheless, your comments are valuable to us as we continue working to make the City Sightseeing Belfast experience as enjoyable and informative as possible. We hope you still had the opportunity to enjoy some of Belfast’s highlights during your visit. Best regards, The City Sightseeing Belfast Team
This was a good way to learn about Belfast. It would have been nicer if they had provided a headset to listen to the driver/guide since he had an accent and it was hard to tell exactly what he was saying.
Dear Ginny, Thank you for sharing your feedback about your City Sightseeing Belfast experience. We’re pleased to hear that you found the tour a good way to learn more about Belfast and discover the city. We’re sorry, however, that you found it difficult to follow some of the driver-guide’s commentary due to his accent. We understand how important clear and accessible commentary is when sightseeing, and we appreciate your suggestion regarding the use of headsets. Your feedback has been shared with the relevant team as we continue working to improve the City Sightseeing Belfast experience for all our visitors. We hope to welcome you back to Belfast in the future! Best regards, The City Sightseeing Belfast Team
Amazing experience due to the driver/tour guide Don who enlightened the tour with his facts and witty remarks, great day out learning about the history of the politics in Ireland, we saw murals, titanic tourist attractions and other major courts and buildings! (Biggest thanks to Don for making the trip memorable)
Our driver/guide was Don. From the minute we took off, until the end of the tour, we were absolutely impressed and delighted with his depth of knowledge, sensitivity to the subject, respect for the people of Belfast and warm, endearing sense of humour throughout. It's evident he loves what he does and is passionate for visitors to learn about what the people have endured to become a peaceful city. I would recommend the tour and especially Don to everyone.
Fabulous driving and knowledgeable guide. Would highly recommend and thanks for a great tour. Catherine W
driver very knowledgeable, cost £20pp...thankfully accepted cash so no need to worry about cards...enjoyed balance of both sides of the community etc i think as a country it has come along way & more than ever both sides need to stick together now , the needless pain suffered during the troubles on both sides tit for tat for 30yrs is no different...heartbreaking...important for visitors to see the growth...very interesting...
