We try to come regular as we love it so much. The staff are amazing such a small knit team of just the 2 people. We recently were contacted to change our booking due to a death of a close family member, of course this wasn’t a problem for us and wouldn’t expect anyone to be working in the circumstances. Having got to know the staff over the years we know this was a genuine reschedule & through no fault of their own. We are due to go again in the coming weeks to know the tearoom is now open to the public is a massive plus for us and will be Definately trying it out. We found after the first time having a voucher and having issues with the voucher company we now book direct so much easier. You will not be dissapointed.

This is the second time we have been for the horse and carriage ride and afternoon tea. Staff are lovely and friendly. We really enjoyed the ride and afternoon tea was beautiful. We will see you again next year.

I would have loved to have this experience that I paid for but the owner cancelled at extremely short notice three times. I tried to book with him on numerous occasions but he always had an excuse over the period of around 18 months. He finally told me there had been a death in the family and had to go to a funeral so couldn’t make it and I would have to be refunded the money I had paid . I am still waiting for the refund. He doesn’t answer any of my emails or anything. He has changed the name of the company as he had so many rubbish reviews saying the same thing. Avoid at all costs . He will blame the weather , illness and even a death in the family to avoid giving people the trip they have paid for. My grandchildren was extremely disappointed. It’s daylight robbery and I am now trying to get my money back from Buyagift website where the trip was purchased from. I still have all of the emails from this said company if they care to try to dispute this review .

A wonderful afternoon from start to finish. Booked as a treat for a friend's birthday. We arrived early and were immediately offered a hot drink whilst we waited. We were introduced to our lovely guide and 2 horses, Reggie and Arthur. We alighted our beautifully decorated carriage and during our hour long journey were driven through a quiet private woodland area. Our guide was a lovely gentleman. He was passionate about his job and the welfare of his beloved ponies was his ultimate priority. After our journey we enjoyed a scrumptious afternoon tea washed down with copies amounts of tea. The sandwiches, pastries, cakes and scones were delicious. Would highly recommend.

As lovers of horses we looked forward to this day and we were not at all disappointed. The owners of the horses were amazing and so friendly and the horses were so so friendly. My daughter was allowed to clean and untack the horses and loved every second. My first ever ride on a horse drawn carriage and a perfect day for our anniversary. Lovely cream tea afterwards and will highly recommend it A perfect day out

Wow what a fabulous day having chatted with the owner explaining I had had a Carrige driving lesson previously he let me drive ! The ponies were so easy . This made a birthday treat extra special! The afternoon tea after was literally just the icing on the cake ( apologies for not finishing it all!) it was so fresh and delicious! In a totally relaxed environment . No rush. We took our time and savoured every mouthful with unlimited teas and coffee . I can’t praise this business enough looking forward to my next visit . The owner goes above and beyond to make your experience extra special . Oh and the horses are soooo well looked after . That was very important to me .

My wife and I visited Little Skipwith to celebrate our 10th anniversary, and it honestly ended up being the highlight of our trip. We booked the one-hour horse and carriage ride, followed by afternoon tea for two in the tea room. The whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and clearly passionate about what they do, which made the experience feel really special. The horse and carriage ride was lovely and relaxing, and it was obvious that the horses are extremely well cared for. They looked happy, healthy and very well looked after, which was particularly nice to see. After the ride, we enjoyed the tea for two, which was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh and there was plenty to enjoy — a perfect way to finish the experience. We couldn't have picked a better way to celebrate our 10 years together. The combination of the beautiful horses, lovely ride, fantastic food and genuinely friendly staff made this a really memorable day. Highly recommended — especially if you're looking for something a little different and special.

Had an absolutely brilliant half day driving experience today. The staff were super friendly and the horses were clearly well cared for and very much loved. We were able to be fully hands on and prepare the ponies for the ride and we both got the chance to drive as well. After the ponies (TJ and Reggie) were safely back in the field we had a lovely afternoon tea in the tea rooms. Also plenty of drinks were provided throughout. Highly Recommend and cannot fault them in any way.

Don’t ever book this activity through Activity superstore or hope this carriage company gives good service Booked three months ago snd paid £99 .skipwith contacted me late at night (before due to go 1 1/2 hour journey the next day )to say they won’t do the ride and afternoon tea as not been paid by the activity company. Why they waited till the night before after having three months to contact me or the activity company is beyond me. So that is a day off work two of us had taken snd the family let down with no chance to sort and currently £99 down. Both companies are at fault with appalling text replies from this one

Booked what should have been a really enjoyable experience with this company but it has turned out to be a nightmare. The original booking was cancelled because two of the party fell ill with COVID. The second trip was cancelled last minute by the company and given the time of year it was not worth booking until spring. 12 months after booking and several attempts to book another date we have had messages ignored and dates refused, my friend decided she had had enough and didn’t want to go after all the hassle. I wrote to ask for a refund which was flatly refused. This is the response from the business: I see you cant get your own way so you dont like it and threatening with negative reviews . If you cancelled because you was unwell then thats not my problem we dont issue refunds doesn't work like that. Look forward anyway to the review and please look out for the response 😆
