We were inspired by a real investigation into the heart of the poisons affair, which has never been resolved
In addition to this, you will need to know more about it.

Shame
Track game in the park of the Palace of Versailles
I would like to correct Eleanor's message regarding my opinion of this deplorable performance. Indeed, I settled it well despite the bad faith of Kelvin and his team. Again, this discounted service is not worth the price, which is a reminder of 45 euros per person! For the little investment we have received, it is important to understand that even after negotiating, we are somewhat chilled by this experience.

Shame
Shameful!
We took part in the game in the gardens of the Palace of Versailles on June 15. We were 9 adults and 3 children.
Following the somewhat light performance in view of the asking price, Kelvin was very unpleasant refusing to hear that we could be unhappy. He did not reply to our last email asking for an explanation.
We questioned the person who received us:
"1- Alice only had two envelopes, although it seemed to me to have told you several times that we would be 3 teams. I even sent you the band description the day before. I was hoping she would know about it and stage it a little bit. This is not very serious about the guests.
2- We found the amount of the benefit too high compared to your level of investment (and yet I had already negotiated). Sincerely, we would have just had the paper, we would have managed. Finally, there is very little action or intervention on your part in the game... I can understand a high cost of service when there is a room to rent or the person is in permanent accompaniment (we have already done escape games in Paris). And there, somewhere, charging per person is a bit shocking.
4- The stages were the same for the 3 teams even though you told me that we would not meet. Results, we limited did all the game together since we were following the same route. A little too bad... We had known better. The questions were a bit convoluted and Alice was not able to explain the location of the famous vase. We didn't learn much about Versailles in the end.
5- The end ended a little fishtail, Alice handed us a vial of which we still do not know what is in it and without it being very clear. And what does macaroons, jasmine and investigation have to do with it?
6- Finally, Alice was apparently tired and asked us to take her back to the station, which I also did not find very delicate with the people we had invited who had to leave in a little hurry to drop her off... She went two hours without doing anything."
Kelvin then answered us very meanly with the following arguments and without answering our questions.
– We were criticized for having 45 minutes when we only had 15 minutes and, as it were, there was flexibility
What was the price linked:
-to the design of the game and then tell me that it exists for 8 years. It's pretty cost-effective for five puzzles that were never renewed.
-to the quality of the paper; I find this an exaggeration as an argument, I do marketing and I can tell you that there is better quality paper, and that this argument is somewhat futile, especially since there were only 2 envelopes for the 3 teams in the end... Finally, there was no other material or tools in your puzzles.
- that it is related to the cost of macarons, not indispensable in an escape game, especially since there was no report (at least justified)
the fact that Alice had to make a preparation, when she didn't even know there were three teams or who was in them... So I don't know what she's got planned.
I find these arguments inadmissible since this is not what is expected on a game like this.
We strongly discourage anyone from participating in this game, beware, and eventually you can find the game to download on the internet in need of this dishonest team. It's been 15 days since anyone answered. They play dead.
They also argued that everyone was happy and that my opinions were good. Easy to moderate or ask someone to remove a negative review.
What a shame!

Madame Guffroy Lemaire,
Cordialement

Exciting !!!
Wow the hunt lead us to visite the historical town outside the palace
We did the hunt with our 11 year old grand son and he was able to participate in the hunt but it was a team effort as the hunt was very tricky
Our friendly guide, Cyril, was on time at the meeting point and gave us the document and info needed but we were left on our own to solve the mystery what a fun 2 hours !!!!

Versailles Treasure Hunt
Super fun - we were four adults and four teenagers and we ALL had a blast, even in the pouring rain. Arthur was punctual, flexible and kind, even thinking of offering one of us a little gift for their birthday. Wonderful way to discover the history of the area and we live here!
I had one quibble with Viator which cashed in one day before the announced date - a nasty surprise had I chosen to cancel. Note that this is entirely unrelated to the treasure hunt, which was amazing.

Time travel
We had a wonderful time. A real journey back in time to 1789 and a discovery of emblematic places in our history. We had a lot of fun. Thanks to Benjamin, for his availability, kindness and sharing his knowledge about this fascinating period. A top guide! I highly recommend !!!

Big disappointment with content and price
We signed up for 8 adult track game from VERSAILLES, we were frankly very disappointed with the content, considering what we understood about the game on the website and considering the price we pay per person (25 euros + entrance to the park - 35 euros all-in).
We benefit from a 10' brief at the beginning and end by the organizer, which we found alive and interesting.
Then for 2 hours we go autonomously in the gardens of the Castle with a leaf and challenges. These are small observation games within the Park (go in the direction pointed by the hand of such statue, count the fleurs-de-lis at such a place, find the statue xxx etc.), and this effectively leads us to crisscross the Castle Gardens and indicate "numbers" one after the other, which all, taken together, will in the very end allow to find an answer to the question posed as part of the investigation (name of the guilty in the case of poisons).
There are therefore no stricto sensu puzzles or guesses to solve along the way, we do not progress during the 2 hours on solving the puzzle because the observation games are not related, as such, to the puzzle of poisons.
I would then have liked to benefit, for example, from anecdotes or historical contributions on what we observe (design of the gardens, life at the Court, intrigues of the Court...). Indeed, in the end, the goal is to walk in the garden and pay attention to certain details, statues, fountains, paths... because for sure the place is beautiful.
It is an observation game in different parts of the park, as there are in tourist brochures (especially to make walks fun for children) or books of type "track games in the neighborhoods of Paris".
Thus, the cause of our disappointment is the gap between the marketed "investigation game", and the walk with observation games that we actually do.
It was also the Service Award, which we felt was completely disproportionate.

A very good time
Welcoming on top! The track game across Versailles is intense (good sneakers are required) and captivating. We loved investigating this mystery of history. However, we found it a little expensive and too bad that it is not related a little more to the history of Versailles... But we highly recommend the experience, we had a great time!

An interesting and well conducted track game!
We booked a track game for a group of teens and we were not disappointed!
An interesting, open-air puzzle, clues to find while strolling in the St Louis neighborhood, an experience to do again!
