The Palace of Fine arts was built for the 1915 Panama-Pacific exposition in order to exhibit fine arts.
If you haven’t chosen the option for an Alcatraz ticket then you won’t be going to Alcatraz. If the option isn’t available to book then you won’t be going to Alcatraz. You will go to Alcatraz if you choose the Alcatraz option. (18 and over must have ID to get on the ferry. 17 and under don’t need to)
NOTE: Admission Ticket is only included if you choose the product Option with Alcatraz ticket. Visit Alcatraz, if option selected at the time of booking. You will be dropped off at Alcatraz at 2:45pm for a 3:20pm ferry departure time. Your time on the Island is 2-3 hours. The actual audio tour is 90 minutes long.

Brandon was the absolute best guide! We were running late to the meeting point & he was gracious enough to wait for us. He was very funny & extremely knowledgeable about San Fancisco history. He made our day trip so much fun! We would recommend this tour to everyone who wants to visit multiple sites all in one excursion, and not just because the sites are amazingly beautiful, but because SF Excursions was fabulous from start to finish! I took the 15+ hour tour to Yosemite National Park, and it was my first time visiting the park. Overall, it was an incredible experience. Our driver was safe, professional, and friendly throughout the trip. Our tour guide, Glenda, shared a wealth of local history and fascinating facts, making the journey both educational and engaging. The team managed the schedule very well, ensuring we saw all the major attractions without feeling rushed while still keeping the tour on track. The highlight of the trip was seeing the giant redwood trees at the end of the tour. Despite the challenging three-mile uphill hike, the breathtaking beauty of these magnificent trees made every difficult step worthwhile. Standing among such a remarkable natural wonder was an unforgettable experience. If I had to identify one downside, it would be the bus itself. The bus arrived about 15 minutes later than expected and, although it was clean, it clearly showed its age. For a tour where participants spend the majority of the day on the bus, comfortable seating and reliable charging ports are essential. The seats were not particularly comfortable, and the power outlet at our seat did not securely hold a charger plug. In fact, the plug repeatedly fell out while my neighbor was trying to charge their phone. Additionally, the bus produced a persistent squeaking noise while in motion, and the windows rattled whenever we drove over bumps in the road. These issues made the long ride less enjoyable than it could have been. Despite the shortcomings of the bus, I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting California. Yosemite National Park is one of the most beautiful places on Earth, and this tour provides an excellent opportunity to experience its stunning landscapes and natural wonders. It was worth every penny.
