Rome with Annett – a city tour that will stay in our memories for a long time! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What a wonderful day in Rome! ❤️ We were very lucky to be able to discover this fascinating city with Annett, the boss herself. And what can we say? It was simply magnificent! Annett is not only an incredibly competent city guide, but above all an exceptionally warm, open, and cheerful person. She accompanied us through this impressive city with so much enthusiasm, knowledge, humor, and love for Rome that it was a joy from the very first moment. No question remained unanswered, not a minute was boring. We learned an incredible amount, discovered beautiful places, and felt completely at ease. Time really flew by! We had a few personal dream destinations on our list – Annett managed, with her experience and perfect organization, to ensure we could really experience everything. Our absolute highlight was the impressive St. Peter's Basilica. An unforgettable moment! And then we had one very special wish: We wanted to eat really, really good pasta in Rome! 🍝 Here, too, Annett had exactly the right tip. In a wonderful restaurant, we enjoyed not only fantastic pasta but also an incredibly delicious bruschetta variation with porcini mushrooms, cheese, and ham. A culinary bullseye! What made this day a little bit more special for me personally: To wrap things up, Annett spontaneously recorded a short social media story with me for my passion project, Dr. Mylo. Mylo is a real therapy dog who advocates on social media for more humanity and the destigmatization of mental illnesses. The fact that Annett was immediately on board with so much openness, warmth, and joy really touched me. This spontaneous moment also rounded off our day together in a special way. Dear Annett, you didn't just show us Rome. You gave us a piece of your city, your enthusiasm, and your warmth. You are spontaneous, authentic, incredibly warm, and simply a wonderful person. You can feel in every minute how much you love what you do. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for this wonderful experience and the many beautiful memories! ❤️ We would walk through Rome with you again anytime and can recommend your city tours without reservation. Very good guided tour of St. Peter's Basilica. The guide, Giancarlo, was an absolute professional; he knew an extraordinary amount and was also able to explain his knowledge perfectly with a lot of charm and wit in flawless German. Highly recommended.

As part of our trip to Rome with students, we booked two tours with Deutsche Römerin: St. Peter's Basilica with Giancarlo as well as a tour of the Esquiline with Janina, combined with ice cream making at Gelateria Fassi. Both programs were excellently organized and designed with great attention to detail. We found the effort to actively involve the students to be particularly positive. In some places, it would have been nice to give them a little more time to answer when questions were asked before the solution was given. The tours were very informative and conveyed many facts without seeming dry. Exciting stories and interesting details about people, history, architecture, and art ensured that the content was presented in a lively and varied way. The team around Annett was also a great help to me in planning our further supporting program and addressed our individual wishes very well. For our final evening, a really nice restaurant with excellent food was also organized for us. The feedback from the students was also very positive. Overall, we really liked it – thank you very much for the great support and organization! Should we come to Rome again, gladly again!

Giancarlo was a super guide. We had an exciting and also funny tour. We did have to smile at the gargoyles, because laughing is not allowed in the cathedral. There are so many exciting stories that are also funny. Would take a tour with him again.

St. Peter's Basilica, St. Peter's Square, and the popes... We would not have thought that it could be presented in such an exciting and entertaining way!

It is great to be pointed out special features by professional guides that one would probably have walked past otherwise. During the city tour with Phillip, we learned historical backgrounds and little anecdotes about the well-known attractions. In addition, insider tips and ideas for the rest of the stay. 3 hours flew by. The St. Peter's Basilica tour with Susi was also a great experience. Susi conveys the most important facts in a very lively way. Here, too, many details were pointed out that we would not have noticed without a guide given the wealth of impressions. From the initial contact and booking in advance to the organization (meeting point, welcome, reception, distribution of receiving devices, etc.) and the execution of the St. Peter's Basilica tour, everything was excellent. All employees were very friendly, warm, and competent. Our guide, Giancarlo, is in a class of his own. Not only did he involve the participating children in particular throughout the entire tour, but he was also always open to questions from the participants and answered them competently. Above all, he did not bore us by reciting countless dates, but rather captivated the audience with his presentation of essential topics and connections. His extremely understandable and vivid way of presenting, peppered with the occasional anecdote, made the time fly by. I can highly recommend the provider "Deutsche Römerin".
